I'm not sure about finding out about where you are on the wait list actually. I just sent back the form them sent me regarding whether or not I want to stay on the wait list. Why are you considering applying to Barry now? Would you rather go there than Costal?
I called St. Thomas and they were less than helpful when I questioned them about their waitlist. Apparently its just a WAITING game. STINKS!
Did you not apply to Barry Law, or are you just interested in something new?
Hi Martia! I hope you're well... I share your concerns, I grew up in south florida myself. You shouldnt worry about moving to Jacksonville-it's a great city..and a smooth transition. Try to go on a friday so you can attend a tour...Laura Hernandez typically arranges them so when you call the admiss. office, coordinate with her. I would definitely tell you not to accept St Thomas' offer if you got accepted simply b/c Coastal's reputation is much better. When you visit in a few weeks, you can decide for yourself. I'm going to be attending fulltime. I also have a friend there who is an ambassador..she of course loves the school but I wanted to check out the school myself and also had the opportunity to talk to several students around campus,..they all had very positive things to stay.. why did nova reject u? thats retarded... if you're really concerned and would prefer attending school in south florida, then just make sure you're in the top 10% of ur class, and u can easily transfer.. but dont transfer to another school just b/c it's in miami/sf...Nova and UM i would recommend. I thought about applying to FIU myself...have you asked them why their attrition is so high... it's over 30% that seemed really odd to me... anywho, let me know if u have any other questions.. Yeah I applied online with a fee waiver and in 2 weeks maybe even less i got an acceptance email! i thought it was a joke...
No, i only applied to the full time there. I see you listed some schools in California, have you looked at Thomas Jefferson? Our scores are right in the middle for there, it seems to be San Diego's equivalent of Nova.
