Additional info & updates

Have been receiving letters from many schools, notifying me of my completed application. I hope the news comes soon.

1/27 - Accepted at Tulsa (small white envelope), accepted at Cerighton (large white envelope), and rejected at American (small white envelope). All three results were expected.

2/2 - Deferred at Nebraska

2/10 - Rejected at Oklahoma

2/12 - Accepted at Indy and Washburn. Indy is #1 at this point.

2/17 - Accepted at Texas Tech w/ in state tuition and $ offer

2/26 - Accepted at Albany

3/5 - Received financial information from Seattle, which doesn't mean a thing, according to Seattle admissions.

Does anyone have information about IU-Indy? This school is my best option at this point and I'm looking for some first-hand knowledge.

3/19 IU-Indy it is. Received a rejection from Denver, which has cemented my final decision.

Yeah, at this point, SLU clearly has the best offer. I'm probably sending in the first deposit in the next week or so...still holding off on the scholarship until later, though. I take it Denver is your first choice?

I am not sure yet. I still need to really go over Denver's website before I decide and talk to the admissions people as well. I am currently out of town, so internet access is limited for me at the moment.

I would say it where I am at right now. I have not been to either but I am heading this weekend to visit both of them. I still haven't heard from a few schools that have my interest like Indiana...but we will see. I received an email from them this morning letting me know they appreciate my patience and that they will have decisions out soon...but then I will have to visit there too because I haven't been there to visit yet. I guess after this weekend I am hoping to know better where I am leaning...Good Luck with your #1 pick.

I'm surprised Seattle rejected you; you seem like a strong candidate with your WE and GPA. Guess that doesn't bode well for me. I would try to get a hold of latinlord for IU-Indy information. He's currently a 1L there. You can probably find him on the Law School Discussion prelaw boards.
