congrats on rutgers. if you don't mind me asking, are you a URM? I'm not saying you couldn't have done it otherwise, but I, like you, didn't do as well on the LSAT as others. Anyway, congrats again, and good luck with the rest of the admissions cycle.

Thank you. No I do not have any connections at RU. Wish I did so I could get some money from them. I applyied to NYLS for the PT day. According to them, I got rejected because the PT day program is a special program where they accept about 7 or 8 applicants a year. I didnt know.

St.John's

Hi. I was just wondering if you were unconditionally accepted to St.John's Law School or were you accepted to their Summer Institute which means you are accepted under the condition that you get a B minus or higher in the Property I class during the summer? I got my invitation to the program today in the mail and was wondering if anyone else did. If you can please let me know I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Question

Hi I read on your comments that you applied to places last year and then tried again this year. I was just wondering what you did differently this time around?

I was accepted unconditionally. Well at least i didnt get anything about a SI program. Tho I think that would be kinda cool to take.

I believe the single most important thing i did different is apply early on. at least much earlier than I did last year. last time around I applied close to deadlines. I also tailored my PS to each school I applied. I applied with the same numbers as last year. I applied this time with the same numbers. S

Hi i was reading on lawschooldiscussion that u were accepted into CUNY for the summer law institute. is that for people with statistically lower lsat/gpa where they have to attend the summer program and then pass a class and then are admitted for the fall entering class? or something like if u dont pass the class, u are not admitted? if not, can u tell me what it is? thanks!
