thanks for the kind words on my account. i started out thinking that 17 rejections with 1 acceptance would be fine with my app., so i don't really have a top preference. as you are fluent in another language, have traveled abroad and are a polysci major with a great GPA, i am confident that you will get into at least 1 of the #1s you applied to. best wishes.

Very doubltful at PITT they won't look at you if you are below 160, same with Temple, I think you will defianitely get into Maryland, 40% and at nova 35% at American

Thanks!

Hey...thanks for your comment (you are the first on my page haha)! I'm not sure what my top choice is out of those 4... I know NYU is objectively the best, but I really fell in love with Georgetown & Fordham, so I have no idea yet. Anyway, congrats to you on your early acceptances too...and your 3.98 wow that's pretty much perfect! Are you interested in the ones you got into already? Or are you holding out for the top choices you listed?

Thanx.

Hey...I just checked to see if you had any updates on your schools, and I see you got into Temple...that's exciting! I know that was one of your top two...you must be thrilled! Congrats! :)

Maryland

I agree with the person above. Maryland appears quite picky, so congrats on getting in! I hope I'm able to also.

Wow

Hey...sorry I haven't been on here for awhile. I definitely do know what you are talking about with the stress of the decisions we have to make now. What are the schools as of now that you are having the most difficulty deciding between? I am planning on going to several admitted student evens to get a better feel for the schools...hopefully that will help in some way.

Temple

Hey, Congrats on your acceptance to Temple! I'm not even applying due to my 155 LSAT...how'd you swing it?

Temple!

Sweet, nice job. What is your first choice?

Tuition
Tuesday, October 31 2006 at 07:00 PM

I think each state is somewhat different when it comes to residency. I know for some states, if you leave to attend school, have been in school the whole time you've been gone, and your parents still live in that state, you would be considered in-state. I don't know if this holds for all schools, and specifically don't know for maryland. What i did was email the Office of Higher Education (or something similar to that) with the same question.

Maryland .. Congrats

Congratulations on Maryland. I actually went to their open house this past week. In regards to your question, if you qualify for in state tuition for undergrad in another state, I do not think you will qualify for in-state tuition upon your return to your birth state.
