Good luck on admissions cycle. Thanks for the vote of confidence. :)

Gotta be Chicago, huh?
Friday, August 11 2006 at 08:00 PM

We have really similar numbers, have you thought about Creighton?

Congrats!

Hey there. I found your profile searching through the accepted applicants (all 2 of them) for Marquette. Congratulations! The first one's always nice. :)

Hey thanks! Congrats to you as well. Marquette is in my top 5. I am not sure if I want to stay in the wonderful state of WI so I will have to see where else I get in. Good luck with the rest of your schools.

Congrats!

Congrats on Marquette! I hope to be hearing from them soon as well!

DePaul

Congratulations to you as well. Best of luck to you : )

Congrats on DePaul

I'm late on this, but congrats on DePaul. And with a scholarship. . .that's great! I finally (okay, it didn't really take that long; I'm just antsy) heard back from Marquette. Your notes say you got a larger packet about a week after your acceptance, correct? Does that have financial aid information in it at all? I'm getting way too far ahead of myself, heh. Anyway, congrats again! Hopefully I'll just be copying you this cycle since I applied to DePaul, too ;)

Wow!

Congrats on Wisconsin, that is just amazing!

on Wisconsin! I talked to the dean 2 weeks ago and he personally invited me to visit the school, which was pretty cool. What's your first choice?

Response to your question...
Thursday, January 04 2007 at 07:00 PM

hi again! the dean and I spoke over the phone and he said he wanted to show me around the law school and answer any questions that I have. I really REALLY want to take up on his offer, but I can't take any time off work. Wisconsin seems like a really great school with a very caring staff. If you decide to go, I think you're in good hands.

i've read some great things about UWM...not to mention madison is a pretty cool place.

Thanks!
Saturday, September 23 2006 at 08:00 PM

From what I hear it is expected to rise due to its Big 10 affiliation and being a state school. I'm just happy to finally hear something! Good luck the rest of the way!

UW
Sunday, December 31 2006 at 07:00 PM

UW is my first choice and I'm currently undergrad there.

thanks :)
Tuesday, May 16 2006 at 08:00 PM

Thank you so much for your kind comment. Congrats on all of your schools! But yes, I really hate ignorant people... if he/she would have asked, they could have found out that I have a masters degree with nearly a 4.0 as well as a barrage of other soft factors. Good luck with the rest of your schools, I'm rooting for you!

hey

Congrats on your acceptances so far! What's your first choice? I'm hoping for some love from Seattle (and maybe a couple others - hidden apps) in a few months.

Good luck with Pitt, hopefully you can be in that percentage.

Thanks for the heads up on Madison and although I know it is a great school, I'm not sure Wisconsin is the state for me.

Congrats
Monday, October 23 2006 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on Wisconsin! WI is my first choice. We share a similar LSAT score. What are your opinions on how Wisconsin views the LSAT?

violent?
Wednesday, December 13 2006 at 07:00 PM

why violent? Mozambique just let me walk in.... so madison is a top choice, eh? if there was one that could dislodge it from that spot, which one would it be?

Temple Waitlist
Thursday, September 21 2006 at 08:00 PM

I have yet to send in the form for Temple. I do however plan to do so. I hear Temple has been active with the waitlist in recent years. I have a friend who was admitted off the waitlist there last year.

UW Deposit

There actually is no seat fee for UW, according to their admissions department. They are sending out enrollment confirmation sheets in March

PT
Tuesday, December 12 2006 at 07:00 PM

Thanks, but all the schools I applied to in Chicago consider you for full time and part time and will not allow you reapply within the same application year. I wasn't good enough for PT, it seems.

Thanks.
Tuesday, December 12 2006 at 07:00 PM

Thanks. I'm not giving up on this year yet. I can't really afford to wait another year...the jobs I've had lately don't pay much (and with my degree in women's studies my education isn't an income booster). And school isn't getting any cheaper. I want to finish up my education, maybe start my Phd, and I plan on having a family eventually too...the clock is ticking.

Questions
Thursday, January 11 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey applied to two of the same schools that you applied to, syracuse and seattle.. Like what did you like about both schools that made you want to go to both... I dont know how good of a chance that I have but I want to go as well..

Re: GMU Part Time
Sunday, April 02 2006 at 08:00 PM

I lived in Arlington right near GMU law and liked the area. The school is right off of a metro and so you can metro to the school. I have some friends who go there and they really like it. They all say that that GM is well respected in DC so if that's where you want to end up, I don't think you can go wrong with GMU. You should look into whether they have the ability for you to go FT after being PT for a while.

GMU
Monday, November 20 2006 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on your acceptances! I most likely will be going to GMU. I did my undergraduate degree at one of the big DC schools and miss being there. Like udon wrote, GMU has a solid repuation and DC offers alot of opportunities that you won't get elsewhere. Oh, and GMU will let you transfer from parttime to full-time. What were your thoughts on GMU?

Seattle
Wednesday, October 18 2006 at 08:00 PM

Hey, I'm not sure about Seattle now. I went to visit UoP and really liked the the school and the weather...although I think the weather was really helping me like the school. I'm almost to the point of where I just want to flip a coin. Good luck with your decisions.

IU-Indy
Thursday, January 04 2007 at 07:00 PM

Congradulations on all your acceptances! If you don't mind, could you please withdraw from IU-Indy if you are not planning on attending? It's the only school that I applied to and I am on the line with my numbers. Thanks!

Thanks!
Thursday, January 04 2007 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for your response. I wish I could have applied to other schools but sadly, I have a house and a family here in Indy. I am also 29 years old. I definitely have all my eggs in one basket with IU-Indy!

IU-Indy
Thursday, January 04 2007 at 07:00 PM

I did apply for Part-time as well. I wish they would hurry up already! I just hate that this LSAT score plays such a big part in the decision making. I really am cut out for law school but you sure can't tell it by my score!

IU-Indy
Thursday, January 04 2007 at 07:00 PM

I have already decided to go for a Master's if I don't get accepted, although I hate the thought of more student loans. I did provide an addendum regarding my LSAT scores. I also had a LOR from a well respected attorney in the area. I don't know how much that will help but I guess we'll see!

Thanks!
Thursday, January 04 2007 at 07:00 PM

I meant to post this comment on your page but I accidentally put it on mine! :) - Thank you for the withdraw. I have met some really nice people on this site. I wish you the best of luck and i'm sure you will be very successful!

how did you find out you got in at miami? did you send in anything to get off the waitlist? thanks!

Friday, December 01 2006 at 07:00 PM

Sadly, no scholarship from UW. However, I was not expecting one. Since I am already a grad student here, they could probably infer that they do not have to woo me much. And that is certainly true since I did not apply elsewhere this cycle!
