It will be interesting to see how you do - the only thing counting against you is applying so late. Your numbers are sure spectacular, good luck with HYS! They always leave spots open for the late bloomers.

Crazy stats

Hello to another CS major out there.. you have some crazy stats. Although you are applying a little late, I think you'll have some good results =).

Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the support! I really don\\\'t know what to expect. All I can say is my transcript, recs, experience, personal statement, everything should be unique. I was planning grad school originally, so thats my background

good luck!

(not that you need it) Yay for another late-cycle applicant. Wish I had your stats, though. :P PS. I see your name and keep thinking of the Olsen twins. That deliberate?

Yep, olsen twins. Don't ask why, I don't know myself. But I use the name for everything. IP would be the obvious choice for me, but I'm gonna try as many different areas as I can. That first acceptance feels so good! :)

UCLA

Congrats!! Late applicants rule! Cross your fingers for me... do you know when your file was complete? how did you apply (online, LSAC, paper) and did you ever hear from them before the acceptance? thx!

I didn't hear anything until I got the email, and they said they'd be mailing me stuff later in the week. My understanding is that your numbers are auto-admit there, so I wouldn't worry.

harvard call

Nah, I think they're usually short...although obviously I'm not a Harvard applicant so haven't been following obsessively. G'luck.

CONGRATS!

Great job on Harvard! Although, with your numbers, it's hardly a surprise. Thank you so much for your comment on my profile -- it's by far one of the most touching compliments I have ever received :) Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

Yeah I think Stanford would be #1. Don\\\'t think I could resist the weather. Doesn\\\'t look good though...

hey :)
Monday, March 13 2006 at 07:00 PM

congrats on all the acceptances :) i found that dumb ass comment towards the bottom of your page hysterical. with that poor of grammar, its likely that the guy even stands a chance at your left overs. anyway, good luck. my opinion, you wasted the 75 bucks on applications, wait and see from all the WLs. I think you have stanford on lock though.

not sure
Tuesday, January 17 2006 at 07:00 PM

From what I\\\'ve seen, Stanford looks really good to me. I don\\\'t know though. I\\\'m going to do some research this weekend. I wish I had a chance to go out there. My parents already told everybody they know that I\\\'m going to Harvard...

Hey wow

That's some peer pressure, eh? "Join me." Well anyway. As a another admit from the waitlist, I am curious what your going to do since you did say Stanford is your top choice... Maybe I will see you next year! If I do, then I can also empathize with losing a deposit. I will loose $450 to NYU.

tryin to decide...
Tuesday, January 17 2006 at 07:00 PM

I have until Friday to decide. I'm having a lot of second thoughts. When it comes down to it, it is really hard to tell Harvard no. I'm doing all the research I can, hoping something makes my decision easier.

leaning towards S, just trying to pull the trigger. For me, it comes down to location/QoL and my interest in tech stuff vs the name.
