Thanks for the heads up regarding a physical letter. Hastings is absolutely on my radar.

Law school Prep?

Thanks for the note. What is your opinion on the usefulness of those one-week pre-law school seminars? Is there a big difference in the law school experience for having taken vs. not having taken such a class?

Thanks!

Thank you for the note. I'm sure you can probably guess who I am.. Thank you very much for the conversation last week. It was extremely helpful and became the deciding factor in where I attended. I'm extremely excited about Hastings. I can't wait to move up to San Francisco!

You seem to know a bit about Hastings. Do you happening to know the number and range of the early admits to Hastings this year? I think they had 220 applications and accepted only about 35 last year. I have heard that they only accept a very small number and those that are deferred should not be discouraged.

Thank you

for the note. It is disappointing to be deferred, but I realize they are not admitting many students through the ED program. I am thankful, however, I still have a chance at a seat there next fall!

Any advice for a future 1L at Hastings? Also, I graduated from undergrad in May '07 and I was wondering what I should do with my year off?
