Additional info & updates

11/26: Submitted a majority of my apps; waiting for letters of rec to come through and for LSAC to hurry up and process everything (the guy on the phone said it takes up to 4 wks to do once the application is submitted)

12/10: File with LSAC (LORs/transcripts) is complete. Now the waiting game begins...a little nerve wracking considering people are already getting acceptance letters.

1/2/08: Called various law schools to confirm whether or not application was complete. Even though people advised me not to do this and just be patient, I'm glad I did: turns out Boston University lost my application (so much for applying early) and I have to resubmit everything, right up to the Dean's Certification Form. It's surprising how turning in an application at the end of November doesn't guarantee its completion 6 weeks later.

*Numbers have changed on this profile, because I didn't realize that a bunch of classes I had taken had transferred over into my cumulative GPA. Also retook the LSAT and have averaged it to be 160.

Keep on LSAC to process your LoRs. Last year it took them over 6 weeks to process one of my letters, and I had to hand deliver it to some schools. Good luck

Hey there and welcome to the UCONN Class of 2011! You should go on TLS and post under the UCONN Class of 2011 thread! Thanks for the congrats - I chose UCONN because it I am technically a CT resident (though I have bounced around in the military) and I am a veteran thus making it free for me to attend any level of schooling at any CT state school for free. Hard to turn down a T1 school that will cost me nothing! CONGRATS on your acceptance and I will be seeing you soon!
