Extra Curricular Information

I've been reading other people's profiles, to try and get a grip on why some people get in and others don't, so I am filling out mine.

By the time I attend law school I will have have been out of undergrad for more than 4 years.

I have just under 1 1/2 years financial consulting experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, and 3 years experience in various political capacities, as a government staffer and on campaigns. During my time at the Big 4 firm I volunteered what little extra time I had to various political campaigns. My political experience lent itself to very good personal letters of rec from several politicians.

In College I got mostly A's, some B's, and three C's, which brought my GPA down to below 3.5. The C's were all in math courses, and I explained in my essays/interviews that Berkeley's Math department has an average GPA of less than 3.0.

In early college my ec's and work experience were eclectic, but beginning my Junior year they were consistently pointed towards teaching math and gaining political experience. I took on several leadership roles, but did not found anything.

The only organization I belonged to throughout my collegiate career was my sorority.

As for race, I made it clear to all schools I applied to I was multiracial, with white being the largest component and Native American being the smaller. I did not include any reference to my race or ethnicity in my personal statement, and I did not submit a "diversity" essay. I did include an extra essay dedicated to explaining how my math degree relates to the legal field.

U guys serious around here??? I mean.. I can comprehend 1/4th of any race. But how can you live with yourself after you claimed to be 1/8th or 1/16th of anything. Oh.. wait.. I am 1/32 African, like the rest of the world. Does it make me an URM ???? I mean.. give me a bloody break. I can understand that this process is tough and everything but please be civil for Pete's sake. You guys are going to be defending law after all, atleast answer your own cons. Please stay away from using dirty tricks to get into law schools.
