With your scores you can walk into Cooley. Barry also seems to be a clear fit for you. We have alot of the same schools.

If I am interpreting your comment correctly, I assume your asking if I am a member of a Fraternity. I am a female and a member of PAD.

FCSL

We have similar stats. Good luck with FCSL. I got rejected due to my LSAT score (they told me to re-take it in June for reconsideration). I'd love to go to Barry, any word from them yet?

Thanks

Thanks for the info about Barry. That sucks, but at least I know.

Arkansas

Yes, Arkansas did request a diversity statement along with letters of rec. However, I didn't send anything. I just recieved an e-mail someday asking me if I was still interested, I replied and Bam! I was in!

personal statement

I never sent in an additional personal statement, just the one with the application. Perhaps Arkansas just goes by index first and then reads the PS and recs if you don't meet the index. Also, the acceptance was by e-mail... but I recieved the packet like a week later.

American Justice School of Law

Has anyone ever heard of this school? They are located in Paducah, Kentucky. They sent me a fee waiver application and when I called the Dean had me fax my package to him, he asked if I could start in June for summer classes. I never heard of the school...anyone know anything?

FAMU

Sarah, Good luck with school. I have discussed details about FAMU from a personal experience, but, not something I would post on this website sorry. If you would like to contact me with your contact info then I can fill you in.

I have found some good housing information. I got my housing set up for August. Any other Floridians Cooley bound? Email me and we'll talk about where we can find a warm coat!

WEATHER TRADING

If anyone is coming to Florida from Michigan, I am willing to trade my open toe sandals and sunscreen for your winter coat!

FAMU

To all who have asked about FAMU: take a look at their page, notice the acceptances. There is one there with a 141 and 2.17 that took a very short time to be approved, there is one with a score above 150 that took two or three months. Look at the profiles of the students that have been accepted and see if you notice a preference. It is outrageous!

FAMU

Hey, I would love to get your feedback on FAMU. I am debating between Stetson and FAMU because of the cost savings (after the first year) and the fact that I am not looking to work for a big practice upon graduation...rather work in a family law practice. Please fill me in at your convenience. Thanks. JW
