Additional info & updates

Only applied to two schools--geographically limited to southern New England. Other local schools; Yale (yeah, right), Western New England (4th tier) and Roger Williams (4th tier) not options I'd consider.

Multiple LSAT: Bombed with self-study first time, second time took Kaplan course. Huge variable in teaching quality among instructors. Based my course decision on instructor credentials, not most convenient location.

Attending UConn evening division: Highly respected by NE region employers. In-state tuition. Low first tier ranking. Will start PT and switch to FT after 1L. Will graduate in 3 years.

Quinnipiac: Spending big $$$ and working hard to move from third tier to second tier--think they will probably do it eventually. Local reputation improving. Charismatic dean. Nice safety option.

Thanks for the gratz. Good luck on the cycle. You should be in good shape at UCONN, I've read there is a large advantages by being an in-state.

Hi! I'm going to UConn in the fall as well. I'll see you then. Feel free to email me if you like. I'm interested in environmental law; so also thinking nonprofit/gov't/public interest. Take care!
