Hey man thanks for the congrats. I didnt include a diversity statement, just my PS. I dont think they ask for a diversity statement, but I could be wrong. Just make sure you have a strong PS. It probably helped that im from the area

Yes, I did write a seperate diversity statement relflecting on my upbringing in a conservative Muslim culture in south asia and middle east where i talked about the cultural norms and the ills in the society. I pointed out the diversity of thought I would bring to the law school community with my understanding of multiple cultures, knowledge of Islamic laws, multiple linguistic skills as well as diverse work experience in finance, management and accounting. My PS was about harships faced under terrorism threats on a daily basis during childhood and then a subsequent immigration to the States followed by hardships faced here and then eventual academic and professional success. Hope this helps.. Best of luck!

Thank you very much! I never imagined that this cycle would go so well. As far as a diversity statement, I did not write a seperate one (primarily bacasue they didn't present that as an option in the application). I agree with some of the other ppl who have commented on your page that a strong personal statement will do wonders for an app. You numbers ar better than mine, so I think you should feel good about your app. assuming everything else was in order. Good luck!

Thanks for the congrats. My status on the online checker went from 'complete' to 'decision' after about 3 weeks. I found out about the acceptance via a snail mail letter in a small envelope 6 days after going to 'decision'. Good luck to you!
