Additional info & updates

Apparently I've been put on "Hold" at Case Western. Didn't see that coming. Since the normal status indicator doesn't have that option, I'll just put it here.

It's May and I haven't heard anything from Baylor.

I finally e-mailed KU to see if I had any type of merit scholarship coming. It turns out I'm getting $5,000.00 for the first year, which seems pretty lame considering the other offers I've had. I wasn't surprised.

I recieved notice via email that I am still on the waiting list for Wake.

I recieved an email from Temple asking if I would still be interested in attending now that they have some seats open. I declined.

I got my wisdom teeth removed today and it was awful. However, I did find out that I was accepted to Baylor. I suppose those events even each other out.

Today I recieved a letter from Case Western informing me that their class was full but that I will be put on the waiting list if I return their enclosed letter.

they notified me by mail. i think that's the only way they send scholarship offers. thanks for the compliment, and congrats to you, too, you have some great options. Go State! TB

I don't know what helped me. I was looking to apply somewhere on the east coast and Temple sent me a fee waiver via email so I applied. The email said that they have had some applications withdrawn and they were wondering if I would still be interested in going. I withdrew because it's not anywhere near any of my family and it's quite a bit more expensive than other places. I would obviously not recieve any kind of scholarship if I went.
