luck to you too. what is your top choice?
Well, i think i'll stay on until i get a decision, i honestly don't think i'd go anyways...i'm a selfish lout who wants to get her money's worth of rejections
It has been a while! You have some great options though, GW and Emory are both great schools, and I bet you'll get off a waitlist. I'm leaning towards Duke I think, but I'll wait Penn out until I find a place to live in Durham. What is your #1?
Hey, congrats on the scholarship. I see you've gotten a bunch of admissions offers, congrats on that as well. I chose Colorado over BC because of the scholarship. Although the poster above is fine with taking loans up (and many people are), I personally think that the less debt I have at the end of the rainbow, the more options I have. I don't aspire for biglaw and I don't want to work as a public defender, but I like knowing that if I wanted, I could do either. CU has risen in the rankings, it's got a brand spanking new law school building, it's in Boulder, CO that's a beautiful town, and a CU degree is relatively portable almost anywhere in the West, including California (9th best school in the West). I think that NYC firms would respect it as well if you choose to go there. I know the CU deadline is approaching, so I'd ask them if they could extend it for you so you can have time to make your decision. That NYU thing must be killing you...
I think I take the cake, as you don't appear to be on any waitlists.
i visited the school and met with an admissions officer, got an additional LOR from a vanderbilt alum who i work with, and recently wrote an LOCI. i told them i'd definitely attend if admitted (which is the truth!) so that might have helped too.
Are you projecting into the future with that 12/10 completion date? Best of luck to you this cycle, I'll be keeping an eye on your progress.
