USD via large, thin white envelope. Scholarship information came a few days later.

Hastings via online status check. Letter came in a small envelope a few days later with a nice handwritten note from the dean referencing my grades and honors thesis.

In at Pepperdine via small envelope. Scholarship came a few days later. Isn't that e-mail they sent with the video enticing?

The one I was waiting for, Loyola. Went to decision via online status check, then recieved an impressive, large folder a few days later. Scholarship info came about a week later.

2/23 Went to decision at Georgetown. Expecting a rejection, but hoping for part-time admittance.

3/1 Recieved big packet from Boston University! Things are getting exciting! Now if only I had some love from USC and UCLA :(

3/2 Recieved e-mail from Dean Tom at Boalt saying my file has passed the initial review and that my file is moving forward for further consideration and that a decision should be made by March 26. Not holding my breath.

3/12 Put on the Provisional List at Notre Dame.

3/15 Received 15K a year from BU.

3/21 In at Davis via online status checker.

3/26 Called Berkeley for my status. Rejected over the phone.

3/26 Just complete at Columbia? Ridiculous. Now I have to wait two months for my rejection letter.

As of right now, it's Loyola for me! I visited the school and loved it, and the money is hard to turn down. Unless I hear some good news from UCLA and USC, I'll soon be a lion.

3/28 Got a call for UCLA saying I was waitlisted. I'm excited! But now its time to figure out how I'm going to get off!

4/2 Came home to my Harvard rejection (that took kind of long) and was put on the priority waitlist at Boston College. Not staying on.

As of right now, I plan on attending Loyola... but I'm really hoping to hear good news (or anything!) from USC and to get off UCLA's waitlist.

4/25 Recieved rejection from USC. To anyone applying to law school in the future, LSAT is everything.

USD gave me more money... weird since I withdrew from there quite a while ago.... oh well weirdness is what I now expect in regards to the admissions process!

Hey, just a quick question for you. What made you decide Loyola over Hastings and Davis? I'm in at Loyola, WLed at the two others...and I just can't get excited about going to Loyola. =`,

Like...it's not a bad school, I was just...I dunno, I just sorta preferred my visits to Davis and Hastings. Was wondering if there was some kinda of charm that I missed, and that you might help to show me! =D

That's totally understandable. I know that LA is kind of a market that I'd like to avoid, so I bowed out of Loyola very fast. However, since you're pretty much 100% on LA, I definitely think that taking Loyola over Hastings and Davis is the right choice. I just hope that you get called off the WL at UCLA, cause that'd be cool to go to the same school for both UGrad and Law, heh =D
