I wasn't really interested in any top tier schools besides UVA. Not that I wouldn't want to go to Yale or Stanford but my interest in those schools was not strong enough to justify the extra cost. I toyed with applying ot Northwestern but after visiting their and realizing that it was quite a stretch, I chose to save the $85 instead. I also kept telling myself that if any of the top tier schools was going to take me, it would be UVA because of my residency. I'm happy with the choices I have now and will be really happy if Wisconsin offers some scholarship money my way. Good luck with everything.
congratulations. i'll be applying for '07 and would be happy with the schools you got into. most of the people i know who went to georgetown are happy with their choice. any tips on application essays? e-mail if you'd like re: essays, georgetown, or whatever. -- dr
Congratulations on all your acceptances! With all your choices, have you ruled out Florida? If so, if you would consider letting them know by withdrawing, I would be very grateful! My fianc is on the waitlist there and it is his first choice.
