Additional info & updates

Georgetown decision came to my temporary address in a regular envelope with a hand written note from Andy.

MD arrived at my permanent address in a large white envelope with the word "Congratulations!" on the front.

UF arrived at my permanent address in a large white envelope.

Indiana arrived at my temporary address in a smallish USPS priority mail envelope. The dean included a handwritten letter that said my PS and LORs really stood out. $25,000 scholarship.

Arizona arrived at my temporary address in a normal sized envelope, but it was fat because of all the material.

GMU notified me via a voice mail message left on my cell phone by the dean of admissions. Received acceptance letter in a large white envelope at my temporary address a few days later.

GW notified me by e-mail. Large envelope came to my temporary address saying I had been accepted for the part time division (I had asked to be considered for both FT and PT).

WUSTL sent deferral to my temporary address on 1/17/06. Sent acceptance to my e-mail on 2/21/06. Acceptance letter was mailed to my temporry address a week later. 3/10: I received a $36,000 scholarsip offer...kind of funny since they had deferred me!

UC-Hastings came to my permanent address in a thick regular sized envelope.

March: BU sent me a letter saying I had forgotten to include description of post-graduation activities, so my app is incomplete. I'm not going to bother sending it though since I'm already in at schools I'm more interested in.
Was informed by William & Mary that my app wasn't complete (misisng Personal Statement), but again, I'm not going to bother sending it in now.

William&Mary rejection came to my temporary address in a thin envelope.

Washington&Lee came to my temporary address in a thin envelope.

UC-Davis came to my temporary address in a thin envelope.

4/7/06 Withdrew applications to everywhere execpt Georgetown.

Indiana offered me more $ in response to my letter saying that I'd chosen GULC.

Congrats on the GULC acceptance. Great way to start the season. Plus, that has to be one of your top choices, right?

Hey Congratulations on all the acceptences. I got into IU with the same scholarship offer and I'm leaning towards taking it. I live in Virgina also. VA Beach to be exact. Send me an Email, especially if you think you might end up at Bloomington. Take care, Frank

I wasn't really interested in any top tier schools besides UVA. Not that I wouldn't want to go to Yale or Stanford but my interest in those schools was not strong enough to justify the extra cost. I toyed with applying ot Northwestern but after visiting their and realizing that it was quite a stretch, I chose to save the $85 instead. I also kept telling myself that if any of the top tier schools was going to take me, it would be UVA because of my residency. I'm happy with the choices I have now and will be really happy if Wisconsin offers some scholarship money my way. Good luck with everything.

Congratulations on all your acceptances! With all your choices, have you ruled out Florida? If so, if you would consider letting them know by withdrawing, I would be very grateful! My fianc is on the waitlist there and it is his first choice.
