You have it marked decision but no result... does that mean status check is at decision but you haven't gotten the letter? Also, just curious why you'd pick GULC over other schools on your list. I am currently weighing my options among the schools I applied to, including Michigan and GULC, so I'm trying to figure out pros and cons that other people see.
I'm waiting for the letter too. I wish the website said more than just "decision."
According to Georgetown's status check, I have been at decision since Friday, 12/2. I am patiently waiting for the letter, but it's killing me. I picked GULC over the other schools because Michigan's ED is for the summer, which I didn't want & b/c I am eager to return to the East Coast after spending a year back in Tahoe.
with Georgetown...It's brutal how they make you wait for the letter.
UF sent me a large white envelope. Not very thick, but noticeable large. Hope that helps.
Still no word from G-town- it's crazy how screwed up the mail is when 1.) it's during the holidays, and 2.) you live in a tiny town!
Thanks for posting on my page. In response to your post... Yeah, sucks to get deferred, but hey, could be much worse! Of the four people on LSN who have heard from Minnesota this year, all of us got deferred (today). I think our chances haven't changed much (maybe Im being overly optimistic). I think they just want to get a better understanding of the applicant pool this year before accepting people who have "middle of the road" numbers. Unless they have an atypically high applicant pool, I think we have a decent shot (at least not any worse than we started with). I'd much rather be deferred than waitlisted, cause then we wouldn't hear until the summer (most likely). I think this is more of a reflection of the rushed timing of EA and the fact that our apps will probably demand much more careful attention since our numbers aren't extremely low or high. Im thinking that most acceptances and rejections in the early period are the clear cut cases. Good luck and let me know when you hear from them again!
What was the decision? Good I hope! At any rate, I'm curious to see where you wind up since we have similar numerical profiles.
Hey- just wondering where you are planning on going, just based on your accepted schools?
Re your question: right now I am leaning toward U. of Minn. & Davis. However, I haven't done any of my campus visits yet, so that could change things, as could a few more acceptances.

Congratulations on all your acceptances! With all your choices, have you ruled out Florida? If so, if you would consider letting them know by withdrawing, I would be very grateful! My fianc is on the waitlist there and it is his first choice.
No
They didn't send a notification (I have heard from several people they don't do this). However, they already requested and received my LSDAS report.
