I have a few semesters of psychology and microbiology/genetics research experience, and I have held a part-time job as a political consultant for the past year. Because I graduated early, I will work there full-time until I start law school!

Additional info & updates

Received date = date the school requested a law school report.
Complete date = date they mailed/e-mailed/posted that my application was complete.
Decision date = date on the letter or e-mail.

11/21 - My first acceptance...what a relief! Georgetown: regular-sized, cream-colored envelope.

11/24 - UT was nice enough to send me a Thanksgiving hello in the form of an e-mail that said that I have been held over to be considered with the regular decision candidates...oh well, at least I still had turkey to eat.

12/6 - UVA e-mailed me and said that a decision has been made, and that I should expect a letter within the next 7-10 days.

12/10 - Got both Michigan (big packet) and UVA (regular envelope) acceptance letters today!!

12/15 - WashU e-mailed me saying that the official acceptance letter is in the mail.

12/19 - Got a call from Penn at 1:30 pm, telling me that I have been admitted and that I will be receiving information later!

12/21 - Northwestern e-mailed me telling me that they had made a decision. I had to go to their website to check, because they said they won't be mailing letters.

12/22 - Boston University called.

12/26- Received letter from Washington and Lee.

1/4 - One page letter from GWU.

1/6 - Big yellow folder from USC.

1/20 - One page rejection letter from Stanford.

1/28 - Letter from WashU giving me $75k.

2/4 - Letter from Chicago placing me on hold. They said that I could give them an updated transcript and write an additional essay to help them make a decision.

They sent me an e-mail on 10/28 saying that they had received my application. Then I got the complete letter in the mail 11/11, but the letter was dated 11/07.

that Texas deferred you. Are you a Texas resident (your state says Texas, but you could be going to school here and be a resident somewhere else)

Did you end up sending another essay to Chicago? I'm also on hold, and my letter came around the same day as yours. When do you think we'll know? Are you going to wait it out?
