How did they let you know you were accepted?

Ironically, right after I read your response I got an e-mail from Iowa stating that I had been accepted and would receive a formal letter in a few days. I hope Iowa is generous with the scholarship $, it would definitely compel me to go there.

From perusing LSN accounts and the LSD boards, it seems like last year Iowa sent scholarship offers a few weeks after the acceptance letters.

Congrats on the full ride. It's a great offer and hard to turn down. I received the same award and was curioius as to your thoughts on the school. Email me if you get the chance. Great Job!

Thanks for the reply: I'm indifferent about the city politics, really. I'm more interested in the city and career placement. Do you enjoy living there? In terms of jobs, how would you rate the placement program? Thanks for your help and good luck with the cycle.

i have nothing but good things to say about the U of IOWA. i think it is a great school. congrats on both your acceptance and scholarship.

MY 250 was risky too, risky stupid lol! I mean when I think back on it, I must have been half crazed because I CANNOT believe I sent it in. At least it was pretty funny. ah,well. If Iend up there I will have to ask the prof. that reviewed my file why they decided to pass me on!

I sent in an extra essay. Come on, its Chicago :) I can't wrap my mind around Ithica. Also went to a local reception and was not wowwed.
