I know the feeling! When I got my 152 I was not happy but I didn\\\'t feel like retaking the LSAT. If you have a strong personal statement and good letters of recomendations you will definitely get into most of your schools. I suggest if you don\\\'t want to retake the LSAT then apply as early as possible! That also increases your likelihood of admission. To increase your chances with Fordham, Cardozo and Brooklyn I suggest retaking your LSAT. But you would have to get at least a 160 for your new score to really make a difference. Since most schools merely average the two. Either way I WISH YOU LUCK! You should be okay no matter what you decide ;-).
You should probably give the LSAT another go. 151 probably won't cut it at most of the schools you're applying to. You'd probably stand a good shot at all of them with a score in the upper 150s. If you haven't begun preparing for the Sept/Oct LSAT, December's probably OK too. I applied to the NY schools around January. Good Luck!!!
I'm confused about your description of your "labels"...are you talking about addendum(s)?
If you apply early, with the 159 I predict you'll get into every school you have listed. I also predict that you'll get $$ from NYLS and possibly Brooklyn. Based on my experience, Seton Hall might even offer you money late in the cycle if you show no interest after they accept you. From what I saw last cycle they'll completely ignore your first test score. I'm sure you're going to do great this cycle, but I'll wish you luck anyway so some $$$ come your way.
I don't quite understand what you did or didn't do with your document labels, but, for what it's worth, I referred to George Washington Law as Georgetown in my personal statement and still got accepted, so I'm sure whatever you did, the law schools will cut you some slack.
I think this thing with labels is fine. I just forgot to label the attachements that i enclosed with titles that I referenced in the application. I hope they'll understand which one is which. I only did that for Fordham, but i called them up and they said not to worry. So now i keep my fingers crossed. I still need to apply to NYLS and St. Johns and i'm done with the application process. i'm early on in the game, so hopefully i'll be able to get in at least in one school :) thanks for your comments guys, discoverer02, hope you're right :). I wouldn't mind going to BLS
on your acceptances. Did SJU let you know when deposits are due?
Can anyone give any tips! Should I take it again or just apply? I'm only doing PT in Tri-state. Do you think I have a chance? I have almost 3 yrs at Chase in Credit and Sales, plus Morgan Stanley at Stock Lending... I'm involved with like hundreds of non-for-profits... Does it really matter?
