Hey, I am from Iowa and was also accepted at NESL. I was just wondering what all you know about the school.

Hey thanks for the nice words. I have talked to a few people that are attending now, but I may still ask you some questions in the future about Boston if that is where I am going to end up. For now I am just waiting on a few schools closer to home. Thanks!

Can you tell me a bit more about your Tualne acceptance? when you went complete, what the letter said etc?

Uh... they got the paper copy at the end of November... And then I got an email 1/31, saying that the admisions committee would be reviewing my file, but not to expect to hear from them soon... Followed 3 days later by an email marked "Your acceptance to Tulane Law." The email said to expect an acceptance package in the mail, which has yet to arrive... but that doesn't surprise me much. Let me know if you'd like any more info...

in your personal statement what did you emphasize, if anything? Was it environmental? Thanks for the info.

I have to admit, I'm happy Northeastern rejected me... certainly makes my life easier decision-making wise.

Sorry about Northeastern. How did they notify you? Also are you considering Suffolk? They just moved up to a tier 3 status and I think I may end of there in the end.

It was the standard thin envelope... Suffolk is a great school, with excellent job prospects coming out. On the otherhand, Tulane is a tier 2 ranked far higher than Northeastern (not that the ranking system should be one's sole determinant) with a more impressive faculty... I was relieved to get the reject from NUSL in large part because it bypassed an incredibly difficult to make decision, with no real right answer.
