12/08/06 - Out at Georgetown - - thin envelope via snail mail

12/11/06 - Status @ Fordham changed to "second evaluation". Don't know what it means, but we shall see.

12/11/06 - Got terribly nervous about getting in and applied to Dayton because it was free and I thought it'd be a definite yes.

12/12/06 - Called Fordham to find out what "second evaluation" means exactly. The answer I got was riddled with ambiguity, but it was better than nothing. Anyway, I'm holding out hope that they come through for me. I'd love to get back home to the Northeast.

12/14/06 - It's official! I am going to law school. Large envelope arrived from DePaul today with a two page acceptance letter and a scholarship offer of $15,000. Hopefully more good news will be on the way soon.

12/16/06 - I woke up this morning and realized that I wasted my time applying to Dayton. I'm not going unless they're going to pay me! Anyway, it isn't worth my time to withdrawal it either so I'll just wait and see.

12/18/06 - Woke up this morning with a negative feeling about BC in my stomach... I wonder if that means a rejection letter will be in my mailbox today.

My gut was right. Rejected at Boston College this afternoon. Cannot say that I am surprised or disappointed though. The waiting continues!

12/26/06 - Got a T-shirt in the mail today from DePaul. A T-shirt certainly is not going to convince me to attend.

12/28/06 - A letter came today from Dean Glen Weissenberger @ DePaul. OK, maybe now I'm being convinced!

12/28/06 - Sent a letter of continued interest to Fordham today. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

01/04/07 - Completed that wonderful document known as FAFSA today. Glad to have that out of the way. Now the waiting continues.

01/10/07 - Michigan status checker went to "decision" today. Hopeful, but feeling like I'm going to be in the first round of rejections considering that the decision was made on the first day the "freeze" ended. Oh well, we shall see.

01/19/07 - Letter finally arrived from Michigan dated 1/12. Just as I suspected, it was a rejection. Oh well, life goes on.

01/23/07 - Another no letter made its way into my mailbox today. This one was from UChicago. Oh well, no surprise there. On the other hand, the Dean @ Loyola called today to congratulate me on being admitted!! I'll take it!

01/25/07 - Out @ Hastings via online status check. Oh well, I'm happy with the options I already have.

02/07/07 - I'm starting to feel like the cycle is starting all over again. It's been over two weeks since I've heard from one and I'm starting to lose my patience.

02/08/07 - Waitlisted @ Cardozo. I'll be staying on the waitlist.

03/23/07 - Got a No from Kent today. Oh well, screw 'em.

03/23/07 - An email came from DePaul informing me that my Financial Aid Award letter was available for review on their website; however, I don't have a username or password to log in. Anyone else having this issue??

03/28/07 - I finally called George Mason to find out what the hell is going on. They told me they mailed a letter in January declining my application. For some reason I never got it. Guess it's all no Fordham at this point.

03/30/07 - Received an email from Fordham letting me know I had been placed on the waitlist.

05/16/07 - Still hoping that I get of Fordham's waitlist...
