Additional info & updates

Fee waivers from Loyola, Vanderbilt, Arizona and a lot of schools I didn't apply to.

12/27: Arizona $ is 14k first yr, 12k second and third. Very excited to get my first acceptance.

1/13: Small letter from USC, earlier than I expected.

1/26: Big envelope from Loyola.

1/29: Went to decision at Vandy. I'm a little nervous because of how many waitlists they've sent out recently.

2/1: Small letter from Loyola with $75,000 scholarship over three years. Minimum 2.6 GPA (says this is ~top 65%). Nothing from Vandy still. Withdrawing from U of A shortly.

2/2: In at Vandy via small envelope.

2/3: Large envelope containing Vanderbilt's "Obiter Dictum." Very nice, I'm definitely attending their ASW.

2/13: Email saying I'm complete at Cornell...Two and a half months???

2/14: Small letter from UCLA to permanent address. Wow-this is really disappointing.

3/5: Small letter from Vandy with 7k per year

3/6: Small letter with $15k per year from USC. Pretty good two days after a bad February.

3/15: Sounds of silence over here. Apparently I will be choosing between Vanderbilt and USC within a month unless UCLA changes their mind about me.

4/10: Sent response form to USC indicating that I intend to enroll.

Nope, haven't gone to decision yet online...you'll be the first to know when I do! Good luck to the only true #s twin I've seen on here!

I don't have the exact link because I am at work, but you need to sign up for it on the Vanderbilt Law website. It is called "Virtual Vanderbilt" and doesn't really mention that you can check your status until you sign up.

Congrats on the scholarship. I got the same offer today, and now am really considering going there. What about yourself? Plus, were you USC undergrad (hence the name?) If so, how is it living and being a student there? Thanks.

USC is starting to look better but I'm worried cause people on LSD claim it doesn't have a great national reputation. I don't know where I'll end up so I want to go to a national school. I am thinking maybe it's just that SC grads prefer to stay in LA? As for the 5 WLs, I will probably withdraw from GULC and UVA but stay on Michigan, UCLA and Boalt as long as I can. Boalt is my top choice so I hope I get in there.
