Do you really think that the CHIASHU numbers are accurate? I've heard a lot of information/opinions either way. I'm scared that I submitted apps to schools that are so far out of my rance... thoughts?
Hi! yeah, good luck. i think the 166 will give you a major boost though! good luck with your apps! There's room for both of us at the 6 schools we overlap on!
Sorry about Gtown. My boyfriend just got rejected from there too with almost identical numbers. Deferral from Michigan isn't bad though; I'm praying Penn will defer me EA instead of outright rejecting :) Good luck with the rest of the schools on your list - I think you will be getting a lot of acceptances!
Georgetown. I can't believe it. Keep on truckin' and it'll work itself out. Still, I'm semi-dumbfounded.
You'll have some excellent options at the end of the day.
Hey fellow ND waitlister. How did Illinois notify you of your acceptance? And congrats on the scholarship!
Have you gone to decision at Vandy yet? We have identical numbers and very similar backgrounds (large public schools, graduating in 3 years, straight from UG). Best of luck for the rest of the cycle.
sorry to see michigan. I'm sure i'll be joining you shortly.
On the rest of your aps! Looks like you have some awesome options under your belt already! Where are you leaning towards?
Hey man I'll be watching you. We're in the wait-list club. Are you leaning towards Wash U in St. Louis now? I think it's the best school on your list right now (not just because of the ranking). But I'm sure you'll get in on the waitlist. Especially at GW. That school has a huge entering class and they're trying real hard to get T14 students which they won't get. Just make sure you want to live in DC afterwards. Good luck!
Congrats on WashU. Have you visited and if so what were your impressions?
I'm leaning towards AU. I grew up outside DC and apprenticed at a place just down the street from AU. I like big cities and I'm just not sure I can survive three years in Bloomington. What I am really holding out for is WashU, but I have a feeling I will have a tough time getting off that waitlist.
How did they notify you? Did they offer $$$?
How did they notify you? Did they offer $$$?
How did you get them to up your offer? Right now, I am getting $15,000 a year.
Hey, we have similar numbers and (I think) similar situations with LOR. Did all three of your letters get sent with your initial LSDAS report, or were any sent as updates? If so, how long did the update take?
