Additional info & updates

LSAT scores: 155, 161

From UoP: Honors upon entrance(books) with application being "seriously considered" for scholarship+ scholarship $12,000 renewable as long as I stay in top 1/3

From SCU: Emery Merit Scholarship 3/4 tuition renewable as long as I stay within top 15-20% of class

From USF: I received a call from the Dean of Admissions telling me I was admitted and they were offering me $11,500 first year only

USD: Large white envelope, Yes!

Pepperdine: I anyone else receiving a mail campaign from them? I have gotten a letter from like every single person on campus, I am expecting a letter from the head janitor shortly...

SCU update: I received my SCU financial aid award letter to find that SCU is now offering me FULL TUITION+ BOOKS!!! I still can't believe it! I guess it is possible for normal students to get crazy scholarships!

I wrote a letter asking USD to reconsider my application for a scholarship, and I recieved a letter Saturday (5-13-06) saying that I had been awarded a $13,000 renewable need-based grant

5-15-06 Loyola, the last school to respond, a big white envelope complete with LLS sticker!!

6-20-06 Recent update: I got a letter from Pepperdine saying that if I wanted to attend in the fall to contact them by May 31, only problem, the letter was dated June 19, 2006 ?! They are an interesting case...

Withdrawing from schools (esp. ones offering scholarships) is very sad :(

Did they send you the scholarship information with the acceptance letter or after? Thanks and congratulations! Maybe I'll see you there. :)

My numbers are RIGHT UP on par with yours except I only took the LSAT once. I've been waiting to hear back from Loyola and USD... if either one of those come... I'm dropping pepperdine for it.

At this point I have no idea where I will be attending. We are still waiting to hear back from some schools that my husband applied to. We are leaning towards the San Diego/ LA region.
