my mother and you would get along. i on the other hand feel there are bigger fish to fry. pepperdine didn't offer me any money, so the acceptance isn't that great although i have heard stories of rich families in malibu taking good care of the law students... who knows?

check out the new data for loyola. i predict they might overtake kent in april. they have beaten kent in every category.

i can't understand it.
Saturday, September 17 2005 at 08:00 PM

i'm looking at my copy of usnews and loyola beats kent in nearly EVERY category: smaller size, higher bar passage rate, attrition rate, and higher salaries. the only thing kent has is selectivity. 26% to 36%. oh well. i know you could care less any way. ;-) so how's the cycle going? having a hard time choosing between these great schools? i know i am. if you get into hastings will they be your #1?

sorry...
Monday, March 20 2006 at 07:00 PM

...about hastings. on an upnote though, i know several ppl who got in off the waitlist last year! on another note, if you don't mind my asking, how did they let you know? (i'm still waiting to hear from them...). good luck!

I got waitlisted at loyola last friday. Hastings will be taking forever, because their applications were still being taken up until march 1st. Ridiculous! PS: does NTM stand for Next Top Model... like the Tyra Banks show! haha

I only paid fees at UOP. They are giving me money and it's in an affordable area. It's also close to home so that I won't have to be worrying about travel costs in addition to tuition. Plus, they were friendly as hell at the admit day and they will hold my hand the whole way, which is what I want. How about you? looking fierce, next top model.

yup

i went to a tour in dec and went to the first admit day in march..nice campus, facilities are a little old, but the outside is fairly visually appealing and you definitely cant go wrong with the city
