Heyy! Good luck getting off those waitlists... :) My decision was easier than it could have been. It was a location issue (my fiance wants to work for the state dept after doing an MA), so law school in DC (Arlington) made sense (the other schools were kind of just safeties).. More generally, I probably would have chosen Mason because I would rather live/work in Northern VA/DC than Ohio.. I'm from the Northeast and sick of the cold. That's more of a personal preference, I think they're both great schools. I didn't visit Moritz but I had a great experience with their admissions process (everyone was really nice whenever I contacted them). I went to Mason's ASW and loved it; I'm an econ. major who will probably pursue antitrust law, and they have a real econ focus. It's a pretty urban campus though so I'm not sure what type of environment you're looking for. They did say it was difficult to get instate tuition so I'm not sure if that's a consideration for you. Let me know if I can help you out anymore.. Best of luck!

Hey, I notice that when you were applying to law schools last cycle you were waitlist/accepted at notre dame. I'm currently in the same position you were in last year, with similar numbers. I doubt you even check your LSN anymore, but on the chance that you do, I was wondering if you could give me any tips that helped get you off the waitlist, and not only that, but was it easy to negotiate a scholarship upon admittance from the waitlist? best, kbigs
