Here's to hoping adcomms don't just say "We look beyond the numbers" to bring in more application fees. Good luck this cycle.

I got straight dinged at George Mason as well and was extremely surprised! I guess they had a strong applicant pool this year. I would never have considered it a "safety" though! GOOD LUCK WITH THE REST!

  • Looks Like I'll be attending Fordham PT
  • Tuesday, April 15 2008 at 02:34 PM

Hey, man, Congratulations on Fordham. I just wanted to say that I'm 99% sure i'll be attending Fordham this fall. So I'm trying to get a jump on getting to know people. You going to try to transfer to FT?

- nishta
  • We Can Be Friends..haha
  • Wednesday, April 16 2008 at 10:41 AM

So I'm done thinking. Fordham it will be. I'm visiting next week actually. Did you visit? Where are you from? I plan to transfer to FT also and I've heard from students who are currently PT that those who plan to transfer don't usually even get jobs (because your employer will never know the difference). I have no idea where I'll be living and stuff. Never even been to NYC. Going for the first time.

- nishta
  • NY should be interesting...
  • Wednesday, April 16 2008 at 12:05 PM

I'm trying to plan right now and figure out what to see and whatnot. Good idea on looking for affordable housing. I was maybe thinking about on-campus housing. You considering that at all? I'm staying on the GWU waitlist and GULC and hopefully one comes through, otherwise, NY it is for me. Do you know what it takes to transfer from PT to FT? Certain GPA?

  • Going This Week!
  • Tuesday, April 22 2008 at 09:03 AM

Hey, man. I'll be going this week to check it all out. I'll definitely let you know how it goes. I think i'm going to go for on-campus housing since I'm coming from CA. Hopefully I get it.
