Additional Information
Blanketing the choicest metropolitan regions of the United States of America since 1887.
"Received" is from LSAC site, category called "Request Received," under "Reports," I think.
Priority Track at Duke, I think.
I think I think I think.
Got a stupid mailing from USC the DAY after I applied, including fee waiver which could not be used retroactively. Thanks Post Office for always being so damn slow.
12/8--Complete at GULC, discovered on online status check. Cool.
Eee! Phone interview email from Toby Stock! I love you, HLS. Please love me back!
12/11--Phone call with T-Stock.
12/13--went complete at HLS (via email).
12/15--email from Bill Hoye at Duke. Decision mailed today--just my luck I'm going home on Monday with no way to check my P. O. Box til mid-January!
12/15--went to decision at GULC via status checker. See re: Duke about the impossibility of getting my mail. Anyone have any advice?
12/18--In at Harvard. OMMFG. Sounded like a moron on the phone with T-Stock--always fun.
12/19--In at Penn. So, so, so nice on the phone.
12/20--Big-ass packet from Duke at my school address with personalized acceptance letter which made me feel seriously wonderful (referencing my PS). Then, letter from GULC mailed to my house. So smart! How'd they know that?
12/21--UCLA called circa 7:40 EST. Surprised, ergo asked the dean of admissions how he was--twice. He was nice about it.
12/22--Ann Richards at GW called at 2:15! I'm actually in DC for the holidays, and she encouraged me to stop by Wed. after the office reopens.
1/something--confusing call from student at USC, where I hadn't heard from yet. Stupid mailbox.
1/13--opened my mailbox. FINALLY. Acceptance letters from USC, UCLA. Large mailings from Penn and HLS. Pretty. Shiny.
1/14--Holy shit. Full ride at Temple (top half of the class)--Beasley Scholar. Came in a small white envelope btw. Nice to know I could go to LS for free if I wanted.
This week:
In at NYU and Vandy via snail mail. Big envelope from NYU, small from Vandy. Never got a complete notice from NYU. What is with them?
Since then:
In at NW, BU, and CLS. No Hamilton. I think it makes me an asshole that I wanted one. Very happy to get into NW straight out of UG; had an off-campus interview with a 3L in my hometown in mid-December. I feel validated! I love validation!
2/17--Rejected at Berkeley. OUCH. They were my second choice. I guess extracurriculars and GPA weren't up to snuff.
All done! 3/17--got into Cardozo. I'm not going to be a snot and say "Finally."
Update with money stuff: $30k per year at BU with retained academic good standing; Monrad Paulsen Scholar at Cardozo, full tuition plus $5k stipend with maintained GPA of 3.3. Alternate for Dean's Scholarship at GULC. Never invited to apply for Penn's Levy or others, got absolutely no need-based aid from Penn either. Invited to apply for Rothman at USC, but never got around to it.

English? Thursday, December 14th, 2006 at 1:40 pm
I'm not sure if I know english very well. My comment above doesn't bode well for me.

I'm in the same boat with at least 2 of my decision letters. Isn't it frustrating?
Late? Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 at 2:00 pm
'Twould seem good things come to those who are late. I can only hope for the same in my case.
Congrats on HLS! May I suggest renting "The Paper Chase" over the holiday if you find yourself short of things to do.

How on earth do you get into Harvard but not Boalt??
wow Saturday, March 24th, 2007 at 2:10 pm
Congrats on the awesome cycle! I'm stunned that Boalt rejected you. Decided on where you're going yet?
Penn Wednesday, March 28th, 2007 at 7:27 pm
If you get $, you're going to come, right? Capogiro won't take no for an answer. (When I went last week they had mojito sorbetto... soooo good.)
Heya Sunday, April 1st, 2007 at 2:47 pm
I'm a fan.
Heh Monday, April 2nd, 2007 at 5:21 pm
red nearly convinced me last year to not apply to HLS. You're the only two people I've known who don't turn into drooling fangirls about the school. Which is a good thing.
Yo! Thursday, May 10th, 2007 at 9:45 pm
I'm a day late and a dollar short, but, uh, nice cycle. Screw Boalt! Well, not really.....
