Extra Curricular Information

Additional info & updates

I will post some information about other aspects of my application after the cycle. Now I'll just post notification methods (this seems like the most bizarre aspect of the whole process):

Georgetown: Small, white envelope, handwritten note
Michigan: Big packet, handwritten note
Washington: Letter sized envelope
BU: Voicemail (morning of 1/24), packet with handwritten note (arrived 1/25), scholarship came in the mail about a month later.
Harvard: E-mail (neither surprised, nor upset, but really Harvard? An e-mail?)
Berkeley: Regular letter, sent (oddly) to my permanent address. Oh well.
Columbia: "Hold" came in a white, letter-sized envelope, followed by a "Reserve" letter in April. Silly name for a wait list.
Stanford: Regular, letter sized- envelope.

on Gtown. I like your method to "additional information" restrictions - I totally agree that notification methods are pretty bizarre. Best of luck with the rest of your apps!

Status question

Quick question: When you used status checker did it take you to the acceptance page? Or did it just say decesion until you received your letter?

Good job on Michigan. That\'s a great campus. Guess you can tell Washington to forget it now right? Congrats!

I technicaly applied with a 3.8, but fall detracted from the GPA. Good luck with the cycle; I look forward to seeing how we fare.
