I promised my self I would start a little blog thing when I got my first tier 1 acceptance, and today my UCHastings' status checker went to Decision- Admitted, so here goes the blogging.

*~*~Oh, by the way, scholarships are totals over 3 years, which you probably already figured out, you're going to law school you must be smart, or maybe really stupid, I haven't figured it out yet.~*~*

01/27/07 First Acceptance!!!!!!!! Chapman. But the full tuition for all three years as long as I maintain a 3.0 was a very nice touch.

02/01/07 I felt the need to check my mailbox before going to spend the night in line for Killers' concert tickets and was very happy I did. McGeorge acceptance, along with Legal Scholars designation and scholarship info to come.

02/07/07 I was studying for a midterm and used checking the mail as an excuse for a break. Found my Lewis and Clark acceptance in there along with a $9000 a year scholarship, nice!!

02/14/07 Valentine's Day! Today was an interesting mix. Checked the mail- first ding from NYU, sad but verrrrry expected. Then I checked my Hastings status checker and there was my Decision - Admitted, I was soooooo excited. As soon as the paper form arrives I get to reward myself with a pedicure, yayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
~Update: also recieved a congrats email from
UC Hasting, which confirmed that I am actually
admitted, yay me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

02/15/07 Recieved my scholarship info from McGeorge, $15,000 a year Dean's Scholarship as long as I remain in top third of class, nice!!!

02/20/07 Today the mailman brought me my Hastings acceptance letter, with a very nice note referencing my honors thesis and public interest, I love the personalized notes, they are a very nice touch. Also there was a small envelop from Uconnecticut, accepted!! But I have to say acceptances in small envelops are not very nice, there is always that initial panic moment. Small envelops are supposed to equal bad, its a crazy world we live in. A good day all around.

02/25/07 Oh my god, I cannot stand the waiting. I just want answers, pleeeeeeaaaaaaaasssseeeeeeee!!!!

02/26/07 So ask and ye shall receive. First I called all the not yet complete schools and they all said I was complete and being reviewed. And then I checked the mail, well I checked it twice, but the second time there was an acceptance from the University of Oregon!!!! I like being accepted.

03/12/07 So its been forever since I got anything from a law school and I was getting real impatient and then today I get home with a gnarly sunburn and there was a big acceptance packet on the counter from Temple with money and everything. I love getting in, its so fun!!!!! (Sorry if this one is a little stupid, I think I might be delirious after all that time tabling in the sun)

03/24/07 Hey all. Haven't been in the mood to write this in a while. Today was apparently the day for waitlists, got the small envelop from BU and W&L. All I have to say about it is at least they are not rejections, but this just means more waiting. Oh and I sent in my seat deposit to Hastings, well a few days ago, it seems pretty likely that's were I will end up. I tried to visit and they were on spring break, so I am going to the admitted students day on the 31st. I hope I love, that would make this so much easier.
