1-16-07: In at UT! Small white envelope USPS.
1-23-07: In at FSU! Phone call and email. Letter to follow.
2-05-07: In at American! Large USPS priority mail package.
2-06-07: File in Review at Houston (via status checker)
2-12-07: In at Stetson! Large package with letter, viewbook, and financial aid information.

2-13-07: Called Maryland to check on status. I'm complete and my file is with the committee.

2-19-07: University of Houston status checker says "decision mailed" and I got an email today about Admitted Students Day. It says "again, congratulations on your admission." I'm not going to mark my status to accepted until I have an actual letter in my hands (bad karma), but I think I got into Houston. (?)

2-20-07: Email from UF Law stating my application is being reviewed. They will make a decision between now and early April. (Isn't that when they normally send out all decisions?).

2-23-07: In at University of Houston! Small white envelope. So I guess the emails weren't a cruel joke after all.

2-27-07: Complete at Carolina Law. My last complete application. Hoping for the best.

3-13-07: Waitlisted at Maryland. Boo.

3-14-07: Signed up for FSU admitted students day on the 30th. Good times in Tally.

3-19-07: Whoa! I got an email from UF with an invitation to ADMITTED students day! It opened with "Dear Admitted Student" Totally freaking out! I got the email after the admissions office had closed for the day.

3-20-07: UF followed up with another email confirming the prior admitted students email. They said the admissions letters will be sent Wednesday morning. Excellent. Go Gators!

3-30-07: Visited Florida State today for Admitted Students Day. It was really nice. They made some excellent points and they gave me a shirt! Still undecided. I'm visiting UF on April 13th.

3-31-07: Finally got my official letter from Florida. Slowest mailroom ever. Major life decisions to be made over the next 15 days!

4-06-07: Waitlisted at Carolina. Better than a rejection. Looks like I'll be writing a letter of continued interest ASAP.

4-13-07: Went to Admitted Students Day at UF today. I liked the school a lot. They have made the campus much nicer with recent renovations. I could definitely see myself there.

4-14-07: Withdrew at University of Houston. Withdrawing at Stetson and American tomorrow. Can't make the financial justification to myself for any of those three schools. So I'm down to UF, FSU, and UT. I'm leaning towards UF but not sure what to do. Any advice?

4-30-2007: I got a letter from UF today that I have received a grant! Decision made. Unless I hear something from UMD or UNC soon, I'll be attending the University of Florida next year! Go Gators!

5-04-2007: Paid my seat deposit at UF. Getting pretty excited.

7-20-2007: I have an apartment, a roommate, a new desk, gator football tickets, and I'm moving to FL in early August. I'm finally fully committed to law school at UF. I'm pretty sad that I was not accepted from the UNC waitlist, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Gator blue is much nicer than Carolina blue. :)

02-16-08: On the off chance anyone still looks at my page. I'm really happy that I decided to go to UF Law. I'm on the student recruitment team now and I'd love to answer any questions you have about UF Law or any of the decision making process. Please feel free to post them on my wall and I'll get back to you asap (not checking the website everyday, but I'll do my best to get to it once a week).
