We have similar numbers so I got my fingers crossed for you. Don't be afraid to email the schools and request a fee waiver (merit based). It worked for me I think out of the 20 I am applying to I 'm only paying for 5.

We have similar stats and applying to some of the same schools. Which school is leading the way for you right now?
You know Im still waiting on a few of my top choices but if I had to decide today it would be between DePaul and Denver. The scholly make them appealing.

I appreciate that. yeah, I was surprised by UK and Iowa. I thought I had a 50/50 chance at UK, but I felt I had no shot at Iowa. Before everything got started I was GA State all the way, but now it is more of a toss up. I am trying to avoid 6 figure debt. Being in state is awesome for GA State, but I am still leaving my options open for UK, Iowa, and Tenn/UGA (both schools I dont plan on getting into). Mizzou would be great. You would have a great selection in the Midwest market. I would be shocked if SouthCarolina doesnt offer you some sort of scholarship. Best of Luck! Congrats!

You know I really am leaning towards UK. I want to wait and see what kind of scholly they offer but so far they seem like a great choice. I have been accepted to better but UK has a lot of positives like cheap, friendly, well respected, and good place to live. What about you?

Yes, it now says in review 2/21/11. I am kind of in the same situation, UT Mizzou and a long shot at Wake. Mizzou is looking more likely each day though. What part of TN are you in?
Tennessee status checker still reads 11/18. This is a good sign for you if yours has changed to 2/21 or whatever. Being out of state and not in the 160's I feel my chances are not the best anyway. which is totally fine. I'm rooting for ya though. Everyone should be able to go instate if they have good numbers (which you do) and they want to (which they do). Im optimistic for you.
Waitlisted at Tennessee today. Better than a rejection. Probably wont accept the waitlist, but better a WL than a R. good luck. God Bless
How did your acceptance from Ole Miss Come today? I've been told by phone that my decision would be made 2 weeks ago but have yet to hear anything.

I never got a status update or anything from them, just a call for what it's worth.. I'm sure they just haven't gotten to you yet. Have you had a status update for SMU? My date changed to 3/4.. just wanted to see if that happened to you too since we have similar numbers :)
I just checked my status checker and it now says I have been offered a spot on the waitlist. Thought you might want to check yours.

Congrats on FSU! I'm trying to decide between them and GSU right now. We have the same LSAT and ended up with great cycles :)
Congrats on FSU. They will not seem to take me off hold. They are my second choice and I would love to go. And this is coming from a Gator Conrats
UF is my number 1 choice but I would love to go to FSU. Its cheap and a very high quality school. We both have very similar cycles, both went on hold at the same time, and I sent in a LOCI about a week ago. I prob should have put more effort into or something. Congrats again
sorry I haven't gotten back to you until just now.. I've been so busy. CONGRATS on FSU! :) that is so awesome. I would definitely go there if I were you. It's an amazing, beautiful school. That is a nice scholarship from UTK. I guess it just depends on where you want to practice. I'd definitely wait out that UTK waitlist though.. your numbers are good and I'm sure you're at the top of the list.

that is incredible man. im glad FSU gave you the hook up and you enjoyed the visit. Esp by the third year you may be a florida resident anyway. Im head to GSU. it was either there or Iowa, but Atlanta and the SE is where I want to be initially, not the midwest. I tried not to let rankings dictate my decisions, but i cant make myself withdraw from iowa yet. it just sucks that it is in iowa and is going to be a little pricey. oh well. Congrats! I'll let you know if something changes, but it looks like I headed to the A.
