Thank you very much! I hope this early success is a predictor of what is yet to come. Best of luck to you as well!
Wow, that is so awesome that your first acceptance just so happens to be a full-tuition scholly. Here's to hoping I have the same fortune! LOL. Keep it up...
Thanks - and best of luck to you! Maybe we will be classmates next year!
I would be interested in John Marshall only if nothing else falls through. I am pretty satisfied that with my choices I will get selected by somebody..but we will see..lol. Good luck with your cycle and congrats on the acceptance..full ride that is awesome!
from IU-Indy yet? I just sent mine off today.
Nothing on IU Indy yet which is making me a little nervous. I'm really warming up to JM though so I guess I wouldn't be "too" disapointed if I didn't get in ED or otherwise. I was a little upset when I called their financial aid office and they told me there was no way I'd be offered a scholarship with my lsat score. They said they begin awarding $ at 157.
Wow! Congratulations on JMLS and the Full ride! Amazing! I hope I get something similar, I won't uncross my fingers until the letter comes!
Thanks! Best of luck to you! You are clearly a competitive applicant - congrats on the acceptances and scholarships thus far! Perhaps I will see you at JMLS next year!
When you got your acceptance call had anything changed on your status checker? My status checker has said "Application Complete" since about the tenth of October. I suppose it probably doesn't matter a ton as I am 95% sure I won't go (I got into a T50 school!) but I am just curious :). Also, congrats! Especially with all of that scholarship money.
No, in fact, I just checked my application status checker for MSU and it still says "application complete." I never even went into review! How's that for keeping you guessing? Congrats on your acceptance. Don't rule out MSU yet, apparently they have money to give. Sometimes rank isn't everything depending on your end-goals.
Hey, just wanted to get your thoughts on kent. I'm assuming the 113,000 is a full ride for the 4 years?
I only received a $30k scholly from Kent. My full ride to John Marshall is contingent on me remaining in the top third of the class and is renewable for all 4 years.
Sorry I def read that wrong. How do you feel about the JMLS scholly? The criteria seems a bit stringent to me.
You are correct about the scholarship requirements at JMLS being very stringent. The fact its not contingent on my performance alone, but rather contingent on my position within the entire class makes me nervous. Currently I think Michigan State is my #1 choice. Though I was thrilled to receive an acceptance from IU-Bloomington (but with no scholarship offer).
I basically just said that I would very much like to attend their school and that though I would be satisfied attending one of the schools I received full-tuition scholarships to, their school was and still remains my top choice. I also said that due to my commitment to social justice, that I am very mindful of the amount of debt I am undertaking. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
Nope, those are my numbers. But I see what your eluding too. Soft factors really do matter, and I have them.
Just wondering if you've crept any closer to a decision yet or not? You absolutely killed your cycle!
I just wanted to tell you congratulations on your success so far!
