Awesome job with Columbia! Still no news here (no news is good news?), so we still have hope of a perfect season - I hope I'm not the one to ruin it!
I appreciate the kind words. It truly has been a bit of a dream cycle, that's for sure (the damper is Columbia deferring me - not the equivalent of a Favre retirement to cap the season, but still....). Honestly I have some leanings as to where I'll be, but every phone call, e-mail, and mailing changes the decision or at least makes it harder. I have had AMAZING contacts from Harvard faculty/the dean, and I haven't received that kind of attention from anyone else to this point. I plan to visit all of my top choices, plus I'll be going to lots of admitted student receptions here...so I want to get as full a picture as possible before making a decision; I expect I won't come to a final answer till late April. What about you? The money at UCLA (and, I imagine the location?) must be nice and tempting...but you have lots of fantastic options. Best of luck making a decision!
On Stanford! Any advice for someone still waiting?
So I just got off the waitlist for Stanford today even though I\'m already deposited at Harvard. How did you make the choice to go to Stanford over Harvard? Totally at a loss right now.
