I brought my score up by taking as many timed practice tests as I could. By doing this I was able to 1) pinpoint and work on my weak spots 2) develop a test taking speed. Good luck on your applications!

Do you...or maybe anyone else reading, know if NCCU has begun sending out Acceptances? I called the Admissions Office to be sure my app was complete, got a machiene saying that they are NOT sending out Admissions packets...?

Looks like people are hearing from NCCU...not very encouraging though...one person was rejected with at 147 and 3.3! I can't believe it. Hope we hear soon!

I was wondering if you had learned any more about the PASO program at Appalachian. Three weeks online and one week in class, seems like a hell of a lot of money and a gamble???

I got waitlisted for their AAMPLE program last year so I know all about that summer conditional program. I am still waiting to hear from them. In my opinion I think AAMPLE is a great opportunity for leaders, but I do not think you should have to prove yourself. Your smart and will get into a school somewhere. Either way, you will succeed!! Hey, I got in for the Nova AAMPLE program also. When I wrote my earlier posts I did not realize that your other school was Appalachian. In that regards I would definitely choose Nova if I were you. I took a hard long thought about the AAMPLE program because its a huge risk to take. I sometimes have an ego that doesn't let me think that I should have to prove myself. Yet I think at times like these we might both have to look past the pride and take whats coming. Hope to see you in the AAMPLE program. Congrats!

Hey, just wanted to let you know, I called NCCU to schedule a visit and they could not have been any nicer! Talk about making me want to go there even more. The woman even offered to tell me the status of my app. The Asst. Dean has made a recomendation and I just went to committee, so I'm told it could be another 3 weeks. I'm glad to know the time table...might put you at ease as well. I went complete 1/30/06 if that helps! Good luck!!
