I'm not sure. I think it will really depend a lot on funds (if I get any!). What about you??
Thanks, Broadwaybridge. I will withdraw as soon as I figure out where I want to go. Right now, I haven't eliminated anything.
Hey man, We have a lot of the same choices so far. I'm also waiting on Georgetown and Columbia, so we'll see what happens. Right now, I'm leaning toward UMich out of the schools I'm in. I've been told over and over again by lawyers and law students that I should go to the "best name" school regardless of scholarship money.
Congrats on your kick ass acceptances!!! Very well deserved!! :) After getting into higher-ranked UCLA, have you considered w/d from USC? Best of luck :)!!!
I\\\'m thinking about going to the first one in early March, but I was also interested in seeing the school not in \\\"lookin good\\\" mode so to speak. I\\\'d like to go maybe the weekend before to see the students in their natural habitat.
I'm no rankings whore, but we are in the same boat with GULC, UCLA, and USC (not yet Northwestern or Michigan, though). I'd say go to GULC, just because when I was there I thought it was amazing and if you have a chance to visit I think you'll feel the same way. Location can't be beat, amazing job prospects, and teachers and students are wonderful. That said, I don't think you can make a wrong decision. Best of luck!
When did you go complete?
First off, I'm sure when you visit DC you will fall in love with GULC :-) BUT I've heard the same thing about Michigan, so you'll have a tough call. As far as Boalt in concerned, if you would have asked me before I visited G'town, I would have told you I would completely withdraw all my applications and attend Boalt with pleasure (in fact, I didn't apply to Harvard or Yale because I knew I'd go to Boalt over them and figured I had a better shot at Boalt, so why waste time). But, after visiting GULC, it's more up in the air. Luckily (I guess) it does not look like the law school gods at Berkeley are favoring an acceptance, so, decision made it would seem!
I've decided to go the weekend of St. Patrick's Day. I'm very interested in seeing what the students are like in their natural beer soaked habitat. Unfortunately, I can't go to either preview weekend because of work, so I'll have to settle for exploring on my own. Any new thoughts on where you're going? Georgetown or Michigan? Which will it be?,,,
So what's your first choice so far?
