I'm in the priority waitlist at BC... my feeling is that there is no "regular waitlist" and that they call it a priority list to make us feel better ;)
they put me on their priority wait list. So I don't know if they have different ones. Good luck and congrats on all your acceptances!
I was offered a spot on the "priority waitlist," but I don't know if there are different ones either. But just to let you know, I did not accept my spot on the waitlist (didn't turn in the form), so this might up your chances by the slightest bit there. Good job with the GW scholarship! If I were you I would take that over BC w/ no money.

Haha- I see all the answers above- same here- don't you think that's a bit ridiculous? Maybe it lowers their call volume if everyone thinks they're in a pretty good position by being on the "priority" list. Anyhow, good luck, I'm withdrawing
There is only 1 waitlist and they call it "priority" to make us feel special. Mine says "priority waitlist" also.

Sorry for the delayed response. I'm also on the priority waitlist for BC but I really don't know if it's any different than a regular waitlist. Oh well, have to wait and see . . . good luck!

I got a great scholarship @ NEU, and I actually like the school more than BC.
If you like NEU that much, I would try to negotiate for more money. That said, GW is a fantastic school. It also depends on what you want to do after graduation. If you want to work at a big firm, the debt may not be as much of an issue. However, if you are interested in doing something public interest oriented then it makes a lot of sense to go to the institution that gave you the most funding.
Are you any closer to a decision?
Go where your heart takes you. I know that sounds crazy, but if Boston is where your heart is, I think Northeastern might be the best place for you. I made a similar decision for myself, choosing UF over BU and other great schools. Are they offering you any money?

They said the same thing when I called them to check on my application before I got in. They said "we'll send out your decision"! So you still have a chance! By the way, where are you from?
Yeah, I got a letter in the mail saying I was waitlisted. I had called about a week earlier and was told my decision was in the mail. As far as I've found everyone who was accepted got a phone call, so I was waiting on disappointing news since BU was my first choice. Good luck to you!
I was notified via phone. A package came a couple of days later. I'm having trouble deciding between GW and BU but see that you are attending GW. If you are accepted st BU, would that change your mind?

I had to ask BC for a quick decision because the Navy wouldn\'t let me stay on the list any longer. That is why I got the rejection earlier than others.
