Thanks very much for the info -- I also got a letter from them in August about applying for Fall '07, but didn't apply...there was no way I could get my act together that fast, and I'm really hoping to stay in the DC area for law school (I'm from NJ, which is why I'm considering SHU). I actually e-mailed SHU a few weeks ago to (politely) ask if I could use the fee waiver they sent for Fall '07 for Fall '08...but never got a response. I'm still debating on whether to apply, but will likely wait until a little later in the cycle. Also, CONGRATS on Baylor!! =)

Congrats on Baylor. Did your acceptance come from the president of the student bar association?

We're pretty similar numbers, but I'm not from Cali so I don't know the schools as well.. How are Santa Clara and Davis? I was thinking of applying but I heard SC was not well-known and Davis was out in the country :) Best of luck!

Yeah, Hastings is pretty much my #1 and I sort of regret not doing ED, though binding decisions in general kind of scare me. As the cycle goes on I have more and more doubts about whether or not I will get into any of my target schools. But we'll see :) Congrats on all your acceptances so far!

Sucks about the GM ding. I'm sure mine's waiting for me...I've been away from my mailbox for about 3 weeks. And yeap, tOSU. I figured it couldn't hurt, but I really should have applied earlier...hopefully they have a spot left for me. Here's to hoping for good news soon for the both of us!

Thank you! I was quite surprised. What's funny/sad is I used a different essay for Boston College (and earlier on in general) and then wrote another one because people said I shouldn't talk about wanting to save the world. Apparently it worked, and now I'm afraid for the rest of my applications! I still hope we both get into Hastings :)

Hey there - just wanted to wish you luck on the rest of your cycle and congratulate you on your acceptances so far. We are basically number twins and I've applied to many of the same places as you at about the same time. Looks like we are still waiting on many of the same places too - what's your #1?

Hastings or Davis - waiting to see where I get in to make a final decision. Was bummed not to get a Hastings acceptance in that first round of them, but happy to still be in the running!

See, and I'm leaning towards Davis - I hope it turns out ok, and that I at least get into one! Looks like they just started reviewing my application late last week, so here's hoping. Good luck to you - let's hope it doesn't even come down to having to write an LOCI.

I'm curious - are you on the regular waitlist or the priority waitlist for BC? Do you know if there's a difference. I'm also on the WL so I'm curious - thanks!
