Got two more acceptance letters from TJSL and John Marshall. I know almost nothing about how John Marshall actually looks in terms of facilities and location within the city, will need to research it.

San Diego would be close to home, close enough to keep the mom happy. I still have my eyes set on Boston though, or San Francisco. I am thinking of applying to Albany but fear it might be too late in the cycle to try that esp. if I don't know if I would really choose it over NESL.

Hope all of you are getting into the places you want!

March 7
So, I made a document listing all the deadlines for the places i got into. Most of them are april 1st for first deposit. That seems WAY too early for me. I called southwestern and they told me they like email extension pleas. I just feel it's a little unfair to have it be April 1st. I called ucla for comparison of standard and their deadline for Letter of intent is May 1st.

3-15-07
I can't believe I only have 15 days (ie two weeks) in which I should cement my decision (most schools are april 1st for LOI). I think most will agree that Suffolk Law is where I should attend. They also offer a JD/MBA program. From amongst the fourth Tier, they seem to be the ones who have won my heart. I'm so grateful and happy I made it in.

I'm still waiting to hear from Golden Gate and Southwestern (both of which I am complete at). I'm not sure if they'll "make it" by my Suffolk deadline. Of course, I might place a call email to them tonight (few weeks advance notice) telling them of the Suffolk deadline. I'll need to research such a move more before doing it. If all goes as planned, I'm very excited about the prospect of going to Boston!

Congrats on the acceptance at Touro. Have you had a chance to visit the school?

Congrats on Touro, when were you notified regarding the scholarship? In your acceptance or after?

Is the $13.000 per year or the total over the 3 years?

JMLS

Check out my profile to find out information about JMLS. The city of Chicago is GREAT, but JMLS itself outright SUCKS. You are much better off going to Cooley. Cooley is an outright better school than JMLS and there is no stupid curve to bring your grades down, either. If you want more information, let me know.

I like your LS choices

Which schools are you considering now? Any insight you want to share regarding TJSL? Best of Luck, no matter what you choose

definitely choose Suffolk over NESL. Even though both are 4th tier, Suffolk's reputation is pretty solid here. You will experience the regional hold though - don't expect to get a job in CA after graduating from Suffolk. But that goes for any schools that's not top 20. not to mention, the building and location is awesome!

I definately agree. I visited both campuses and Suffolk is far better. Springfield Mass is the pits. ALso the bar passage rate for WNEC is very low. Suffolk has the best legal clinics of all schools

I am greatly considering Suffolk. It is such a great school but I am still waiting on Northeastern plus I applied for a full tuition scholarship at Hofstra so i want to see how that pans out. I do however believe that I will be at Suffolk this time next year.
