I was averaging between 150-156 on the practice exams so my score was a little disapointing, but it could have been worse. I picked up my points in the logic games section, I found this was the easiest area to improve by just practicing my sketches and logic charts. Reading comp was a little trickier. I aced this section on more then a few practice exams (80% or higher right on RC). My LSAT test had 4 long passages and 27 quesions so there was a lot of material to get through. If you can get better at mapping the passages and knowing the author's and audiences POV I found this most helpful. Feel free to email me if you want to discuss this and good luck September 30th! Mid-150's no problem =)

I hope you raised your score...and I am sure that you did. Looks like you are applying to a few North Carolina Schools. How come not NCCU? They are very respected in this part of the country and you would get in I believe with your numbers. Good Luck.

I had the same... did not do well on first test... increased 2nd by 15 points. Still not good numbers. I can not think and work that fast. I was turned down last time and am applying again. Altho I was just accepted at their sister school Phoenix Law. Really hate to move tho. I live in CLT

If you haven't already, visit Central. The students made a big impression on me. Very familial and down to earth. The class I observed was impressive and I thought the facilities were excellent. Just may see me there next year.

Hey there

You definately have a chance. A good one actually, chin up! I canceled my Sept score. I left feeling like I did not prepare as I should so I've been doing heavy duty stuff since then. My file is complete except for my LSAT so we'll see. I would rather explain a cancelation than a bad score.

Sorry

I hope you don't think I was insenuating you did bad.....I wasn't. I think my score would have been bad. Scares me to see so many people saying "I was scoring this on practice tests and did much worse." EEK. Are you going to State open house the 11th?

Judging by your stats I think you stand a decent chance of getting in. Did you retake the LSAT or is the 147 your final score? I think it's good enough given a good personal statement and letters of rec.

congrats
