I did not fill out any separate fin. aid form for W&M ... the money they gave me is a thing they seem to offer a number of early acceptances and is not based on need. For need based stuff you need to do the FAFSA right after Jan 1st ... for merit stuff only a few schools had an extra form ... WUSTL was one we both applied to ... But I think alot of merit aid is based on 1) when in the cycle you are accepted and 2) your numbers in comparison to their medians. Alot more info/ speculation on this over at lawschooldiscussion.org ... not sure if you post there or not but you should! So now for my question ... I have never been to seattle but I applied to UW for environmental law stuff ... any reason why you aren't applying there? I am assuming that is where you go, correct me if I'm wrong ... but what has your experience been like there?
It seems as though you applied to many schools as well. Good luck with this cycle!
Most of my completion dates came via e-mail or snail mail. I waited about a month or so to start calling schools that hadn't given me a completion notice because I applied early in the cycle. Best of luck.
rest of your cycle!
just wanted to say congrats on all of your acceptances. You survived the LOR drama and got into a bunch of schools already; nice work!
Hey, congrats on all of your good news. I was wondering what you think of the law school at U of Washington. I noticed that you aren't applying. Let me know if you have anything that might help my decision. Thanks!
Hey, glad to be of help. Sorry you didn't get a more favorable result from your $108 LSDAS fee. I'm actually in Portland these days, so I visited the UW law school last month. (Before that whole deluge thing of early November; this was late October, and it was gorgeous.) I was really, really favorably impressed. Mainly, I couldn't believe how happy all the students were, and how much they truly liked the school, and how supportive they seemed. So it was definitely a good experience. I'm still torn, geographically, about where in the country I want to go, but one could do a lot worse than UW. Best of luck on your end.
