hey, when did your status checker say your application was going to the review committee at UGA?
haha, yeah I went to UGA for a couple years and am finishing up my undergrad in kennesaw...I don't think they will get into the BCS, just because the sheer wackiness that would have to occur for it to happen, but then again its been a crazy season...I really wanted them to get to the SEC game, but Kentucky just didn't finish it off! Oh well, I hope they decide on my app quicker than 2-3 weeks or I might go crazy...are you gonna withdraw your app if you get a few more of those T14s in the acceptance column?

I don't think it would be too bad, hopefully not too dorky. I guess just visit if you can and see how you think it is. My biggest concern about there is the weather, but I'm in LA where it was in the eighties today, so that's what I'm used to. The idea of actually being negative degrees is completely foreign to me. I guess if I go there or anywhere in the NE I'll have to get some new winter clothes. I love that video- it's so colorful and psychadelic. The part with the cats makes me laugh. Good luck with making a decision! :)

Congrats to you as well. I am very tempted just to take it and withdraw from all other schools. I was wondering the same thing you asked... The scholarship probably looks good on a resume, but I'm not sure how it "affords recognition" at the school. Maybe faculty members are more apt to pick Dean's Scholars as research assistants? Or it could just be flowery language...

New York, New York. At least that's where I'm leaning right now. I seriously doubt I'll get in to H or S and Chicago (not in yet but hope to be) seems too depressing. What about you? Leanings?
