What program did you apply for? September, May or January? Good luck!

to congratulate you on the Kent by email! Incidentally, our numbers are equal. All things being equal, what's your top choice?

it's good to have a numbers twin...i'll most definitely be watching your progress! good luck to you--looks like we have some overlap in schools, i hope we both see good results. :) as for a top choice, i'm trying to figure it out as i go. i'm looking for a good school in a good city, whatever that means. time will tell...

Since I didn't receive an e-mail from a professor, I have to assume I'm denied. I sent in my application before you did, so...I guess that means they denied me again. I thought applying for the PT instead of the FT program would have been OK, since my LSAT score is pretty low. But I have my Master's now and I'm working in a law office and I thought that would help, but I guess it didn't help at all. Congratulations to you, though.

BC...WTF?

Early Acton, flat out rejected? With your ECs, work experience, and graduating early!?!? Not even a WL or Def? And I heard they are extra heavy on the LSAT, in which case a 164 would have definitely put you there! When you get into Michigan, it's not going to matter.

Well...I still haven't heard from Kent. They're probably not doing anything until after the New Year now, so I guess I'm going to John Marshall. I'd really have preferred to just go to Kent or Loyola and wait, but I can't take that chance. I doubt they're going to accept me anyway. I was on Loyola's waiting list last year for the Full-time program and was hoping I'd have better chances to get into the part-time program this year, but they won't even look at applications until after the New Year, so unless I get a letter immediately, then that's not going to do me any good. Kent's sent out acceptances, of course, but only to people with major high LSAT's, not to people like me. And they outright denied me last year. So I've pretty much lost hope in going anywhere else. But heh, it isn't like JM is a horrible school, right? It's just not up there in class like the rest of them.

Welcome to the club! Not only is the letter harsh, they didn't bother to change one word of it from last year. Wow. They really disappoint me. Anyway, best of luck with all your other apps, and Happy New Year! ;-)

Hey, congrats on your acceptances. Are you going to any of the Minnesota Accepted Students weekends?

mn ques.

I guess you wouldn't really need to get to any of the student weekends if you're a local. I'll be there next week actually. How's Mineapolis at a city? Cool place? Ironic perhaps that I'm under 22 inches of snow in ny right now and I'm going to MN for relief. How much does the MN weather cause people to hibernate out there?
