I think your chances are good! I really like ND. Emory is a good school too. Why did you choose it as your #1? Any particular reason?
Hi - from the posts I've seen on LSD, SMU may be under-staffed this week, and I read that more calls will be made out tomorrow. Good luck!
I think (but I did this a few months back and there were so many apps...) that I applied to both and if it asked me for order of preference, I put PT as most preferred. Not only to up my chances, but I am not sure how I feel about living on no income as a full-time law student...plus I have a good job at the moment that will most likely allow me to transfer to wherever I choose to go for school so why throw it away? Good luck to you - your LSAT score is great so you should have a pretty good cycle!

SMU did call me on Wednesday, but I do not think they are done calling people.
they may well be done calling, if they are only calling certain people. I do know that the physical letters have been mailed so hopefully you'll be getting that soon enough :)

Yes they did use the term, "Provisional List." And it is quite odd that yours did not say that- but essentially said the same thing. Drop me an email I'd be interested in the exact wording of your letter. I would of course also share mine.
Hm yeah I didn't apply early decision (at least I don't think so). And embedded in my letter was a provisional list memo- explaining what it was and why I was on it. I'm guessing you didn't get that. I don't know... could be good news for you. I would call to clear up any discrepancy. Because it sounds like you're on the waitlist, but if they didn't give you the waitlist page like I got... that's a head scratcher.
