Well, though it's too bad we won't meet in Chicago, thanks for withdrawing. Who the hell knows if it makes any difference for my application, but I guess it can't hurt (I'm aiming for technology law...) Good luck with NYU!
Hey, you asked when I was deferred -- I applied early action, so I was deferred by both Penn and NYU in late early -to mid-December.

It's good to see another future law student with a MS in EE out there. I'm sure you know this, but Patent lawyers with a EE degree are in high demand, so don't stress too much about where you end up going to school. You've got a solid engineering background, and I've found (talking with recruiters) that you'll likely get several job opportunities no matter what (assuming the market in three years is similar...).
