NYU I love you, take me!!!

Unless NYU returns my love, I will be attending Fordham :o)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GMU e-mail notification that I had missed the phone call telling me that I am in =) Large white packet arrived a few days later.

USC came in a big white envelope

Full scholarship at St. Johns! Dont know what the package looked like, they sent it to my permanent address (i.e. my parents place)

Cardozo phone call/also $$$ arrived in the mail!!

Fordham $$

Withdrew from Northwestern after being put "on hold until April"

Not staying on Michigan's waitlist...as in, not sending in a form saying i want to stay on it.

Will stay on GULC waitlist, just to see what happens.
I've sent my deposit for Fordham and withdrew from St Johns, USC, Santa Clara, Cornell, GMU, and Cardozo.... sigh... It's like real estate: Location location location has taken precedence over prestige and the like for me... (Cornell, I'll miss you)

Columbia, a dream has died...

I didnt realize I was still on the W&L waitilist, declined the offer as soon as it was given...

NYU waitlist YES YES YES YES YES!!! (although an acceptance would be better...)

I didn't realize GW was still accepting people, and honestly had forgotten I had applied to them... Also offerred $$

I have come up with a simple solution for deciding my law school

I will split my time between dc and ny, by commuting between both schools..yes...

Well, though it's too bad we won't meet in Chicago, thanks for withdrawing. Who the hell knows if it makes any difference for my application, but I guess it can't hurt (I'm aiming for technology law...) Good luck with NYU!

Hey, you asked when I was deferred -- I applied early action, so I was deferred by both Penn and NYU in late early -to mid-December.

It's good to see another future law student with a MS in EE out there. I'm sure you know this, but Patent lawyers with a EE degree are in high demand, so don't stress too much about where you end up going to school. You've got a solid engineering background, and I've found (talking with recruiters) that you'll likely get several job opportunities no matter what (assuming the market in three years is similar...). Good luck!
