My numbers are horrible. My LSAT is terrible due to a head injury sustained in combat. Hoping my experience and addendum for brain injury will get me into more schools than the average.

12/6 - Rejected from U of B today. Very disappointing. I have a pretty negative outlook now since this school was one of the lowest ranking on my list and they rejected me. Hoping for a miracle but expecting that I won't be getting in anywhere...

12/12 - Letter from Appalachian stating that I am deferred. Guess I'm not gonna go to law school with the shittiest schools I applied to not wanting me.

12/18 - All hope lost for schools overlooking my numbers. Rejection letter from Catholic received.

12/20 - First choice and ED GMU rejection today. Law schools are awesome.

1/24 - Over a month has gone by without any word from schools...received another rejection letter today from Georgetown. No surprise they rejected me.

2/4 - Surprise, surprise, rejected; Rutgers Newark

2/5 - American. Rejected.

2/9 - Rutgers, Camden. Rejected.

12/13 - GWU, Rejected. Communists.

I hope you get into your number 1 school choice. How much was your application fee for Rutgers? 60 or 65?

don't

Don't worry, I am in the same boat as you. Hopefully, there will be a silver lining for both of us!

I wish you luck in this process. I am going to add you to my watch list. What is your first choice?

Good Luck

I'm a former Army officer as well. You got some excellent soft factors! If I were you, I would consider putting in an application at Southern, FAMU, NCCU, and the Dakotas. I think you have a good chance at those schools.

awesome...

Good luck with your cycle. This is my second time around and I too know what it is like to be rejected to every school to which you apply. Did you try Florida Coastal or Phoenix? I am not sure if you are flexible or not with location, but if you are, I visited both schools and each were exceptional and, at the end of the day, once you have Esquire after your name your possibilities are limitless (well just because you are a doctor of law does not mean that you can perform surgery).

I really wish you luck. My husband has TBI and I can imagine it would be rough to take a test like the LSAT. I would try and retake and ask the LSAC for special accomodations, they may let you have additional time to complete the test. You might also consider taking some graduate courses to show that you are capable of getting better grades, so they know that you have the ability. It wont affect the LSAC GPA but it might help some schools take a chance on you. Good luck!

You should def give FAMU a shot or even St. Thomas in Miami. Also, make sure you say in your Personal statement and/or addendum that your brain incident will not prevent you from doing well in law school. Schools might be scared of that.

the south

Don't know if your still looking at this page but, I have a similar background, iraq afghanistan with BV, i also didnt have a great GPA although my LSAT score was solid. I would differently recommend taking the LSAT again and if you do better reapply to SOUTHERN schools, my results were much better in the south, I hate to say but people actually care about what we did down there, not so much up North. Good luck
