note for Elon applicants: I received an email from Elon today (12/11) asking me to resubmit one of my personal statements. Apparently there are some technical problems with the law@elon.edu mailing address, and so some materials being sent to this address might not have been received. The Dean that contacted me was extremely helpful. I was impressed.

3/6: Notified by mail of $29,000/year scholarship to Elon. Deadline to accept/decline is 3/19.

3/11: Waitlisted at Duke. REALLY suprised to have made it to the waitlist, but I'll take it!!! :)

4/1: Notified by email of $5,000/year scholarship to UNC .

4/10: $15,000/year scholarship to WFU.

4/11: Accepted offer at WFU. Withdrew from Elon and UNC.

note: scholarship information is total amount over three years

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I got a response from Duke so fast because I was on Priority Track. I'm not sure if you are or not, but I think they send it out based on LSAT scores. Basically it's a fee waiver plus a promise to send a decision quickly after going complete. I hope this helps and good luck on Duke! Also congrats on your acceptances, I wish I had gotten my apps in as early as you did!

Thanks! On the scholarship letter from Wake, the commitment/deposit date was listed as April 1, 2008, compared to June 15, 2008 from my intial acceptance letter. P.S. I am Allison from the UNC Complete question, and I am finally complete! They just forgot to send me the email back in December . . .

nah i havent heard anything from them yet. but why should you care?! your in a UNC and Wake! Plus you get that instate tuition for UNC!! congrats man! I am a NC res and im hoping that UNC looks past my crappy freshman year and gives me a shot. im not holding my breath though.

i actually received the scholarship info from elon today. $22k per year. hope you got good money too. however, i still am urging you to completely forget about elon and hit up unc or wake. congrats again!
