Additional info & updates

Overall very happy with how the application process is going... psyched about George Mason, Wake Forest and Maryland!

Expected the rejection from Georgetown...praying about the last few, especially William & Mary! We'll see....

1/29/08- starting to think this is it for the acceptances... seeing some waitlists in the future for the last three

2/4/08- yep, waitlisted at GW.

After I visited Wake and LOVED it, I was secretly hoping for waitlists at my last two so I could just choose Wake and move on...so now that that's happened, I'm excited to be going to Wake Forest next year!!!

Did you apply full time only, or both ft and pt?

Thanks!

I really appreciate the kind words. It's just been a tough two months for me for various reasons, and I hate this feeling that it is 99% a numbers game. Add the fact that I REALLY liked NW, and I felt that the interview I had went very well, and one can see why I feel a little sad/jaded/etc. I hope more acceptances will come your way soon!

Good luck

Did you hear about money yet for Wake? I'm crossing my fingers for you!

I see that you also were deferred at W&L. That's better than a rejection! Have a great Easter!

wake forest is my first choice, but ive never been there. Ive heard winston-salem is kinda dull. When you were there could you gauge the social scene? The more info you could give me the better.

May I ask what it was about Wake that you loved? I visited recently as well, but had a much more mixed opinion. It's still one of my front-runners though, so I'm interested in other people's thoughts. Thanks! :)

Thanks

Thanks for the info on Wake. I think I've decided it's not the best fit for me, but I've heard so many great things it's not easy to pass on it (I know a 3L there through a friend, and this girl RAVES about Wake). Anyway, thanks again for the info and good luck there in the fall!

Congrats on Wake! My feelings on wake are the same as yours (i went to large state school, super involved in frat and campus, kind of want a change), unfortunately though I'm waitlisted and have my fingers crossed. Hopefully I'll see you in w-s in the fall. Congrats again!!
