11/26/07- Got an email today saying I went complete at Mason, but because of the influx of applications not to expect a decision before January 2008. Kind of disappointed because I expected to hear from them sooner than the other schools because I thought I had a better chance in there. Still hoping for something by the end of the year!

11/27/07- Went complete at Notre Dame. Said to give 8 weeks for a response. Nice to have a time frame for at least two schools!

12/06/07- Accepted at William and Mary with a Graduate Fellowship granting in-state tuition and a stipend! So excited to hear so early, and with such good news!

12/11/07- Accepted at Wake Forest! They say they do scholarship stuff in January. Nice to come in after a hard day of exams! :-) Also just went complete at W&L because they were waiting on my Dean's Certification. What a good day! :-)

12/19/07- Accepted at George Mason by phone! Said a package should be arriving this weekend but I'm out of town.

1/09/08- Accepted at WandL! Finally! :-) Scholarship info mid to later this month. Acceptance came by email in the AM, with word that the Director of Admin had just signed the letter.

1/22/08- Rejected at Notre Dame. Little confused because saw other people got in with my numbers and got money. Do we think distance could have been a factor?

1/22/08- Waitlisted at Vanderbilt. Expected after seeing other people's responses on here but still quite disappointed. Thinking about pulling out for this cycle, working, and trying again in a few years. I want to get into a more "scholarship" oriented school as right now my career aspirations are research and consulting driven. Any thoughts?

1/26/08- Rejection from UVA arrived the same day a copy of the recommendation for targeted letter from a local judge did and my updated transcript was finally received by LSAC. Also, when I checked the mail there was a huge manila envelope which got my hopes up, and turned out to be mail from DHHS for someone that doesn't live here. Guess God does have a sense of humor. I knew that the rejection was coming, but I was really hoping they may be putting out some waitlists, which I don't understand. Very jaded that this whole thing is just about numbers-- lawyers work with people, shouldn't personality matter?

Not too happy with the way my cycle is turning out. Rejected from a school I was expecting in (ND) and no pleasant surprises with waitlists/acceptances. Very grateful for the schools I have, and know one will be a great fit, but ego is a little bruised. Anyways, planning on submitting an app to UNC last minute to hopefully add another option to the plate. Hoping some scholarship info will come from the other three schools soon to make my outlook a little more positive.

1/28/08- Just got an email for full tuition at Wake and I could not be more stoked! Love the campus, love all the admissions personnel I've met, and looking forward to the scholar's day in March. Is anyone else going? Email me! :-)

1/30/08- Practically half tuition to WandL. Came by email. Yeah! :-)

1/31/08- Last minute app to UNC. Little bit of a panic attack, but oh well.

3/6/08- Finally complete at UNC. Betting the decision won't come in time for April 1 deadlines at Wake and WandL, but who knows...
